費爾蒙聖胡安費爾蒙飯店(Fairmont El San Juan Hotel)

Was great experiencing PR and Family. The entertainment and atmosphere was great.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated and is well maintained. It is located in a busy, walkable neighborhood near the airport. Dining options at the hotel are good. There are more affordable options within walking distance. There is significant airport and street noise at all hours. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is clean and full of tourists and locals. Isla verde outside of the hotel has the feel of 1980s Miami Beach. That is to say, it’s a busy beach town that looks a bit gritty and has not yet become overpriced.

A beautiful, elegant, well kept resort. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. They are accommodating to children but draws a mix of singles, couple and mature adults. Lots of music in the pool area. The NYE party was fantastic. Full of dance, energy, and well managed. I would definitely celebrate NYE there again!!

We stayed just a few two years ago and had a positive experience. Wish I could say the same with our last trip at the end of January. We were booked in a room with patio on the 3rd floor. BE AWARE! The night club blasts music until 5am Thursday-Saturday, so unless you are on floors 5 or above, you will likely hear (and feel) the music all night. When we asked to have our room changed the next morning, they were not able to move us as they were booked. There were many upset guests the next day and management seemed used to it. It does not make sense to book guests on floors 3 & 4 when they know the club will be open. We were not even given a heads-up at check-in. If you do stay here, make sure to ask for a room on the 5th floor or higher.

Las instalaciones del lugar son excelentes, todo está en perfecto orden y limpieza. Es un lugar excelente para descansar. Destaco el cuidado del medioambiente, no hay uso de plásticos, y todo está muy bien trabajado para disminuir los impactos. Muy accesible desde el aeropuerto. Mejoraría la atención del personal en las recepciones de los restaurantes, ya que no “reflejan” lo bueno que es el hotel. Sin embargo la comida es maravillosa. De noche tienen una gran oferta de entretenimiento, con buena música y ambiente. Cada vez que volvamos a Puerto Rico, nos quedaremos en este hotel.

I have stayed here many times and have never experienced such bad service.From the moment we arrived in our Uber I could tell that there must have been a change in management. The door man didn’t greet us or ask to take our luggage as we have previously experienced. They allowed us to check in an hour early which was nice however as soon as we walked into the room there was a smell of humidity mixed with a dead rodent smell we complained and no one came to check the room I finally complained a third time and they moved our room. The last issue we had was that we decided to ask to check out at a later time and called to inquire about how much would the additional charge be as it was expected to be charged they told us it would be an additional $250 for the couple hours and we agreed to it. During check out we were charged a resort fee and taxes I understood taxes but the resort fee was not explained to us so I asked to speak to the manager by the name of Stephanie Nora not sure if the name is spelled correctly as she didn’t have a name tag or gave me a business card however she was extremely rude and seemed bothered that I was inquiring about a fee that I was not expecting and not told prior to the arrangement she called it a tax which the breakdown shows what the tax was. I nicely asked if she could take off the resort fee as we occupied the room for an additional three hours and were already being charged $250 but she declined, showed no empathy

This property is really nice, however, they need better dtaffinbd and accommodation to their guess. Starting off when we arrived we arrived early around 1pm. I booked for a pool view and according to them when I arrived I boked for a tower view. ( this view didn't even had a balcony or a window to open and all you see from the room was the roof of the other building) I didn't got the room I paid for. When asked if they can upgrade us they were charging $169 per night additionally a total of $600. We was told that the room was not ready but as soon as it becomes available they will let us know. We waited after4pm and I never received a text or phone call when it was ready until approved front desk staff and was told check in starts after 4pm and it was around 430pm. Not only that, food at the hotel is SUPER EXPENSIVE as well as the drinks you are better off going outside the Hotel and get local food for a cheaper price. The one time I decided to buy from the Hotel we order from the Lobby Sushi Rolls and found a piece of hair on my food that was disgusting. On top of that they are super pricey but does not offer anything affordable or included to their guess. It is a beautiful property however, the staff is not friendly at all. At the pool bar they don't even turn around to see who needs to order and drinks are expensive and water down. Overall my stay was horrible at this hotel.

Power went out twice and no generator kicked in either time one time was for eight hours and one time was for one hour on different days. Someone fell and busted their head in the lobby on the day that the power was out for eight hours because the person passed out because almost the entire hotel was downstairs as there was no water, no lights, no air, no nothing and the generator did not go on at all !! Very unsafe, and the rich management who own this place need to fix it ASAP
