Could have been better Arrived after check in. Guy at the front desk kept leaving saying her was sorry. After about 20 minutes I asked if there was a problem and he said they were short staffed cleaning up rooms. Told him we’d come back after dinner so we didn’t end up with a half assed clean room. Got checked into find hair still stuck to the bathroom wall. The fold out bed that was to be used for one of my sons was terrible. He said it was like sleeping on a chain link fence. Thank God it was only 1 night! We were safe and had a air conditioned room to sleep in so there’s that.

The first room that we were given was a king room. When we entered we could hear the wind blowing through and then upon further inspection not only wind but dust from the outside was coming in as well. When we went to discuss this with the front desk they implied that there weren’t any rooms available at the rate we paid since booked through *******. I politely reminded them that this was not our fault but an issue they needed to resolve. They did provide us with a new room which was a double queen room which was fine with us. The room was standard and nothing impressive. The shower had seen better days and had a clear fixed crack running down the side of it. The AC also leaked considerably and we had to keep towels down stp try to soak up some of the water. While we got this for a steal I would not recommend this property.

Hot tub has been filled in for quite some time. Never was a manager on staff. We were over charged and couldn’t not be provided with a receipt to show the amount we were charged and no one would help us. The entire staff with exceptionally rude and standoffish

Window broken with wind from the cracks and air conditioner very noisy. The staff not cleaning the room second day.

No pillows We broke down in Carlsbad, so this is why we had to spend the night. We had four (4) adults and two (2) children in our party. The kiddos were going to sleep on the pull out couch. ISSUES: 1) There were no pillows available for the pull out couch and the front desk was not helpful at all…I even requested that they get a couple of pillows form an empty room and was told she could not do that. There was no manager on duty, nor able to be reached by phone. We did call corporate. We ended up getting a couple of pillows from another hotel guest that heard our situation and graciously let us use their extras. 2) When we opened the pull out…the mattress was terrible and unable to be slept on, so we had to walk next door and buy an air mattress from Walmart. 3) The floor lamp was very rickety and barely standing up. 4) One of the queen size beds squeaked terrible with any movement. 5) The shampoo & Conditioner containers were broken off the wall and empty. 6) All of the milk out for breakfast was expired.
