Never stay here before came with 6 friends.. the hotel is lovely a wee gem room were lovely and big bathroom with shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and everyone was happy we will be back at some point..

Great one night stay en route from Dublin to Belfast. We wanted a small village with local flavor and that's what this hotel/inn delivered. We would return for sure. Rooms are relatively basic but very clean and staff are so hospitable. Meals are excellent. We liked the village of Carlingford, waterfront, castle and the various local pubs, eateries. Perfect spot for a small village experience.

This is the second year in a row friends and I have visited this place for lunch and it never disappoints. Friendly helpful staff especially when the bill needs split and great food that's well presented. The seating areas are very well done and have that cosy feel.

The Mc Kevitts Village Hotel has been owned and operated by the Mc Kevitts family for five generations. The sense of pride that comes with delivering best-in class hospitality cannot missed. The location, comfort, food and bar brings everyone in, locals and foreigners alike. A shout out to Tara who genuinely cares about your stay experience. Guest rooms are perfect for solo travelers, families, hikers and golfers. With a few minutes walk from the bus stop, it is an easy journey to make from Dublin. We didn’t stay there but had dinner on one night on a recommendation and we were not at all disappointed! Mostly young staff who were friendly, chatty and knew their stuff. Food was basic but delicious and they cater for allergies very well. Carlingford is a great town with a good buzz and also a fine place to stop and move on to Northern Ireland in our case or if travelling south.
