Bring your own pillows, theirs are paper thin and make for a very sore neck after a sleepless night. Poor evening staff. Can’t be bothered to answer front desk phone even when there is only 3 vehicles in the entire parking lot and clearly very few guests staying in the hotel. Sub par continental breakfast, and they advertised skip the dishes even though they do not service Carleton Place!? Has potential to provide a much better experience when comparing to other hotels in a similar price range.

Power went out. Would expect compensation for this as room was too warm and no hot breakfast.

A great spot to stay. The hotel was clean, our room was huge, breakfast was good, and staff were friendly.

I had partiers one night though the rules are quiet by 10pm. They screamed, shouted, laughed loudly until at least 3am. I hated the AC, blasting on to control room temp. But I never like that in hotels.

If you are driving through Carleton Place or need a place to stay this is the place for you. The staff are incredible they are extremely kind and hospitable. I didn't get the chance to get the names of everyone but special shout out to Dreamie and Pranash for always being so awesome as well as the house keeping and breakfast staff! I really appreciate you.

The heat didn’t work in our room, the fan was just blowing cold air. When we called the front desk, her answer was “we don’t have anyone around to check it out” - and that was that. We’re the ones that had to ask to be moved to another room.

Arriving for a surprise 80th birthday party, the location had changed between booking and staying. Party moved to Brockville, but CP is acceptable distance away and closer to out friends. Drives to the Frew and the Prior, and well as Brockvegas and the Rez in Belleville were all part of this trip, so it was well situated. It is nice that CP has a newer, more upscale option available. This was our second visit, and other than the track run down the halls by the basketball teams, it was a great time. My wife had recently had surgery, so she required extra blankets and pillows, which were requested and received at check-in. Overall a great stay.

Liked the friendly service, quality of the accomodations, self-serve brrakfast bar. No negative points.
