庫裡南街南方陽光飯店(Southern Sun the Cullinan)

A lovely stay at the Cullinan. Perfectly placed to visit the Waterfront, the V&A, as well as old town Cape Town, Table Mountain and further afield. Good car parking under the hotel at a discounted rate. A lovely atmosphere. Staff that not only help you but also do this with a smile and genuine sincerity. The hotel shuttlebus to the Waterfront is ideal. Breakfast in the morning is comprehensive with great choices. The price as a guest is very good value. Quiet rooms albeit beds a little small and pillows a bit flat. All in all a very good place to stay when in Cape Town. When staying there again this will be our primary choice.

We checked into the hotel for an 11 day stay, and my wife said on the second night that she was bitten by something. I initially thought she imagined it, but low and behold, soon after we found flees in our bed. I have travelled far and wide all over the world but never experienced this, not even in a 2-star hotel. When I reported this to the front desk the next morning, I received no apology - we were simply moved to another room. While room service was normally quite fast, on out last evening, my order had not arrived after nearly two hours - even though I phoned and followed up. Simply received a curt "we are very busy" response. Staff is generally speaking, quite friendly and helpful, though. I will, however, not ever stay here again if I can help it.

In stile coloniale nel pieno centro affari di Cape Town. Stanze ampie e confortevoli, colazione ampia con scelta di diversi prodotti di ottima qualità e musica dal vivo al piano. Bella la coorte interna con piscina. Buono il Wi-Fi e le TV dotate di canali satellitari in stanza

I would like to start off by wishing my Cullinan Family a very Happy New Year. My family and I were at The Cullinan last year December and I must say we had a phenomenal time. The breakfast was amazing as usual, the kiddies bags given to my kids on arrival was such a wonderful gesture, just the amazing atmosphere to be at the Cullinan during this time was something else. I actually cannot find any faults during our stay as we were assisted with everything when we requested. I want to personally thank Serina at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She explained so much to us on check in and also reiterated that if there is anything that we need during our stay she and her team will ensure we are assisted. Later in the day we meet this friendly soul to assist with our safe. Thank you Serina for your efficient friendly service during our stay, we really appreciate it. We cannot wait to visit our second home in the upcoming months .

Ficamos no The Cullinan por 5 dias, e a hospedagem foi como esperado. A localização é boa, próxima ao Waterfront, e o hotel disponibiliza um transfer de hora e em hora. À noite, a região próxima ao hotel fica bem vazia, mas há policiamento constante. O ponto alto é o café da manhã, com muitas opções e ótima qualidade. Há estacionamento disponível para os hóspedes, sem custo adicional.

As a regular guest in the Cullinan again I met friendly and obliging staff, great service and a reasonable room with a flawless cleanliness. Despite the fact that the Springboks world champions team spent two nights at the hotel and for sure cost a lot of attention, everything went smooth and without any hectic. Especially Marc from the bar/restaurant and of course Renee from the front deck again made our stay a really great one. The Cullinan management can be very proud to have them in their team!

Great hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. Gym is far too small for the hotel size, (feels crowded with only 4/5 people) not helped by one of the only two treadmills provided didn't work. Id stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice in this area.
