We had stayed at Icon about 12 years ago and it was super stay. 5 star apartments but Sad to say we are staying here at the moment currently in 1900 and all I can say is ICON YOUR STANDARDS HAVE DROPPED DRASTICALLY. From 5 star to literally a 1 star. Our check in was awesome and so was the receptionist that helped us. Nothing else to brag about. Pathetic rooms, stinky cupboards, towels and blankets. Poorly decorated rooms. Filthy and burnt pot. Totally unfurnished kitchen. Bedding is most uncomfortable. Hardly any TV channels basically nothing to watch. Broken blinds no aircons in the room. Bathrooms are despicable and so old and worn out. We really expected ICON APARTMENTS to be a good choice. The amount paid for this accommodation was and is not cheap thus a totally disappointing payment and experience

We stayed in Icon for 6 nights ,and all these nights we didn't have normal sleep on our neighboring apartment each night after midnight began any party or just very loud shooting ,we ask management but the can't help us.

Your host was communicating right through to ensure I have the perfect stay. I love the fact that the hotel is central. I would definitely book again, My solo staycation was the best and I enjoyed every bit of it . Everything is close by, clubs , restaurants etc Cape Town is beautiful ahhh

About 1 year ago, we booked a little romantic getaway and decided upon the Icon. The room was a studio, very spacious, clean. Everything about the room was really no issue but the reception staff (if any) were not the friendliest or helpful at the time. Hopefully in the past two years they have upped their game!
