維多利亞女王莊園別墅飯店 - 紐馬克

Capetown観光のために初めて南アフリカを訪れた際に3泊利用しました。 ◆立地 初めて南アフリカを訪れたため、治安も含めて少なからず不安があったため、ホテルでCapetown国際空港までのハイヤーを手配してもらいました。 空港ですぐに運転手の方と合流でき、空港から20～25分程度のドライブで問題なくホテルに着くことができました（運転手の方がとても気さくに話しかけてくれたので、いくらか緊張がほぐれました）。 立地はとても素晴らしく、ホテルの敷地から道路1本を隔てた先がWaterfrontのエリアです。Waterfrontは非常に活気のあるエリアで、雰囲気と治安もよいので、安心して買い物や散策ができましたが、そのWaterfrontまでのアクセスの良さは非常にありがたかったです。 また、ホテルの敷地が道路を隔ててWaterfrontエリアを見下ろす少し高い位置にあるため、人が多く集まるWaterfrontに近接した場所にありつつも、静かな空間が確保されています。 ホテルの周囲の治安がよく、宿泊期間中に危険を感じることは全くありませんでした。 ◆設備 ホテル内は清潔感のあるスタイリッシュな内装になっています。 部屋はDeluxe Roomに滞在しましたが、十分すぎるくらいの広さがあり、とても快適でリラックスすることができました。何よりバスルームのバスタブが大きく、長時間フライトの後にゆっくりと入浴できたのは大変ありがたく感じました。 朝食はダイニングルームでのビュッフェスタイルの朝食でしたが、テラス席では朝日とTable Mountainを眺めながらのんびりと時間を過ごすことができます。これは非常にお勧めです。 ◆サービス 従業員の方々とても気さくで、様々なことに相談に乗ってくれました。 もともと予約していた喜望峰ツアーが急遽キャンセルになったので、代替のツアーを探していたところ、すぐにプライベートツアーを提案・手配していただいたのは大変ありがたかったです。 また、チェックイン時にホテルの部屋や施設について時間をかけて丁寧に説明してくれたことも記憶に残っています。 不快な思いをする場面は全くありませんでした。 周囲の治安の良さを含め、安心して滞在できるお勧めのホテルです。 南アフリカ来訪前はとにかく治安への不安が大きかったのですが、それが良い意味で裏切られ、思い出に残る素晴らしい滞在となりました。

Firstly the good stuff.. The hotel is in a great location, being only two minutes walk from the V & A Waterfront. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with large bathrooms and plenty of space. We had breakfast in the restaurant during our four night stay and the food was very good, although the service could sometimes be slow, but the restaurant staff were charming and always helpful. But.. You need to be in the right room. When we arrived we were put in a room on the 1st floor directly above the entrance. We guessed it might be a problem when a large group arrived and spent an age chatting noisily below our window, which was only single gazed. We did mention this to reception, but got no more than a shrug of the shoulders in acknowledgement. Unfortunately, the same group left at 05:00 the following morning and spent twenty minutes discussing who was sitting where in the minibus etc. We complained and asked to be moved. Only to be told that this was not possible. After a pause they did say we could have an upgraded room, but only at the full cost uplift of ZAR2000 (about £80) per day. We begrudgingly took it, as this was the only alternative and were moved to a room on the other side of the hotel with a view of the waterfront and Table Mountain. So, be warned. This is a good hotel in a great location if you are in the right room, otherwise it is overpriced for a poor experience. We would have expected better from a 5 star hotel.

As colaboradores sao muito atenciosos e simpáticos, a localização e excelente. Fica ao lado do Waterfront, uma região cheia de restaurantes, atrações e um shopping repleto de lojas de artigos locais e internacionais O cafe da manhã também e muito bom e variado.

Acabei de voltar da África do Sul, mas minha experiência no Queen Victoria foi decepcionante. A única coisa positiva foi a localização, perfeita para explorar a pé. No check-in, apresentei o voucher da minha reserva e fui informada de que ficaria na The Manor House, parte do mesmo complexo. No entanto, paguei mais caro por um apartamento com vista para a Table Mountain, categoria Junior Suite Mountain View com 63 metros quadrados. Recebi um quarto com vista para a Table Mountain, porém ultrapassado, com infiltrações no banheiro e necessidade de pintura e reforma nas paredes externas. O atendimento foi ok, mas a equipe subestimou nossa reserva e sugeriu entrar em contato com nosso agente de viagens no Brasil. Após contato com o agente, fomos transferidos para o Queen Victoria, porém com downgrade de categoria, pois não havia Junior Suite disponível. Isso afetou minha experiência em Cape Town, especialmente porque era meu aniversário de casamento. Recebi reembolso do hotel, mas nunca saberei se foi overbooking ou descaso planejado.

We had an amazing start to our honeymoon at the Queen Victoria Hotel! Nestled in a private spot on the V&A Waterfront, it is very close to shopping, restaurants and tourist spots. Upon check-in, the reception/concierge and staff gave us a warm welcome and it continued throughout our 5 night stay. Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The room welcomed us with rose petals and chocolates, starting this honeymoon off right! :) This was our first and biggest international trip together and the QV staff helped us with anything we needed. Within the first day my husband had lost his phone and the staff did all they could to help us locate it. I’ve never seen so much initiative to help us, it was impressive and comforting. We eventually found it with our tour guide van and the QV concierge team were so relieved with us. They had also helped us with getting transportation to our honeymoon photoshoot at Signal Hill. We had brought our wedding wear to Cape Town and they helped us from start to finish. The porters were so kind and helpful. Not only with our luggage but they went above and beyond in many ways. They helped guide us to the waterfront and walked us to the safe and secure path reassuring us that we would be able to find our way back to the hotel and not get lost. Thank you THANK YOU to Britney, Nicolas, Moegamat, Zaida, Albert, Oswell and the rest of the staff! We took up the opportunity and treated ourselves to the spa for a couples massage. It was fantastic and we felt so relaxed and serene. Our breakfasts at the QV Hotel were incredible! We dined in for breakfast at the DASH restaurant and the spread has so much to offer. The hot breakfast menu was delicious! I had the smoked salmon almost everyday while enjoying the views of Table Mountain from our seats. The DASH staff welcomed us every morning and their service was impeccable. Big shoutout and thanks to Carol, Zisekho, John and Wendy for their service, poise and attention to detail during our stay. We HIGHLY recommend staying here. You will get top notch service, food, accommodations and will make you feel right at home in this beautiful city. We hope to be back soon!
