I stayed at this hotel last weekend. This was second visit and this time the experience was terrible. I booked a luxury suite with king bed. I paid a total of $507 for one night. The room I was given did not have any kitchen. Not sure how that can be a suite. I stayed at a condo style suite in February that is fully equipped with a kitchen and laundry facility. I paid $250 for one night at that time. This time I was traveling with my child that is why I booked the same kind of room. But the room I was given had none of those amenities. No microwave and no stove to warm up food for my kid. They gave me the room in the hotel's website. It did not have any kitchenette, no microwave, only a wine cooler. A microwave and fridge is important when we travel with a child who was with me during check-in. The room we stayed in did not have any cell service from both AT&T and T-mobile. There was no phone in the room to call the reception or the emergency number they have given us. The hotel description says that they have a restaurant on site. But without a cell service or room service phone there was no way to call anyone including the emergency number. They had a WiFi network but it was not secure. There was no privacy acknowledgement and we tried not to use the WiFi network due to privacy concerns. The room had a great view. A lot of tech amenities but no cell service or secure WiFi. The room did not have a phone to call the reception or room service. There was no dresser to put our clothes in. No microwave and proper fridge (only a wine cooler). It took us forever to figure out how to get inside the bathroom and it was not easy to figure out how to close the blinds on the glass bathroom wall. It is a huge privacy issue when we travel with kids. When we got in the bathroom there were dirty towels on the floor with stains. The smart TV had Netflix app but instead of a kids account there was an account name "keenks". I had to make sure my kid is not exposed to any rated videos. There were no restaurant leaflets that we could order food from. The hotel has safety issues. They have Exit marked with lit. signs but no way to access the exit. The doorway was locked. Not sure how to evacuate at the time of emergency (maybe Tsunami). The grounds were not well lit. It was rainy night and could have caused me and my child have an injury due to fall. I have left both voicemail and text messages on their emergency line but they never got back. Not sure what they mean by emergency. When I told the management about the issues next morning they treated me pretty badly in front of my child. I felt threatened and my child was terrified.

This hotel looks pretty in pictures but when you arrive you are greeted by rude hotel staff. They offer nothing in terms of housekeeping or any other hotel amenities. They are trying to sell themselves as a boutique hotel for adults only, not sure why anyone single would want to stay off the beaten path where this place is. They are over priced and pretentious. You can easily find a hotel within walking distance to the town and beach and pay a lot less!!

An amazing experience from start to finish, each and every employee was friendly, knowledgeable & gracious! Room was beautiful with the most amazing views of the Nubble Lighthouse! Food at the outdoor Airstream cafe was wonderful and the waitstaff fun & engaging! An incredible way to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thanks so much to everyone at The Viewpoint for a truly fabulous 3 night stay!

This is hands down my favorite hotel in Maine. It’s not cheap but the price is worth it for the amazing views of the nubble especially to watch the sunrise & sunset over the light house.

...we experienced yet another wonderful little get away to our favorite resort - The Viewpoint Hotel. We loved the BATHS experience and we were especially happy that the heated pool was still open for us to enjoy a beautiful sunny October afternoon as we embraced the hotel extra amenities; THE LITTLE AUK is always delightful and delicious... We also appreciated the wines for purchase in the registration space - so convenient with a small, but wonderful selection of libations... The staff was as always incredibly kind and helpful - creating a most wonderful experience and stay for my elderly parents and ourselves - The Viewpoint Hotel two bedroom suite accommodations was absolutely perfect for our family gathering and vacation at the beautiful Maine shore... Our Autumn Adventure was perfect in every way possible. We are most grateful to the entire Viewpoint staff.

We loved our stay at the Viewpoint Hotel! The Shoreside Room had a terrific view and was modern, quiet, and private (we were glad that there wasn't a major event at the hotel during our stay). The lookout over the lighthouse was perfect for our first night in Maine. It was also easy to walk to the lighthouse for a closer viewpoint. The sky was clear and we were able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars after dark. A take-out dinner from the hotel's restaurant perfectly complemented our stay. We didn't have time to use the spa but that's a great amenity too. We'd recommend this to anyone who wants a luxury accommodation!
