海角查爾斯海灣天堂旅館(Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles)

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bay Haven Inn in Cape Charles, VA (May 15-18). We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years, and Bay Haven is definitely one of our favorites, if not our favorite for many reasons. This was our first time staying at Bay Haven....hopefully it won't be our last. Tammy & Jim (the owners) are down-to-earth and make you feel like family. Their gourmet breakfasts are delicious, and Tammy made several recommendations of restaurants and things to do that we took advantage of. We had fresh soft shell crabs at the Shanty for lunch one day and sea scallops & flounder w/crab meat at Hook & Harvey for dinner one night. Shanty is more casual, while Hook & Harvey is more up-scale……both delicious! I had asked Tammy ahead of our visit if she could recommend an eco boat tour, and she recommended Captain Meriwether Payne in Wachapreague, VA. We were able to join Captain Meriwether for a late afternoon/early evening tour (4:30 to 7:30pm) and were not disappointed. How lucky were we that we picked one of the 2 weeks that birds were migrating through that area. We love to go to Cape Charles for mini vacations because you can feel the stress melt away as soon as you go through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. It’s like being in another world.

Tammy and Jim are the perfect hosts. They tend to your every need. The Inn is in excellent condition and very welcoming. The breakfasts were creative and fabulous. Sincerely, Shirley and Bill

Such a wonderful experience! The entire house and property were beautiful. Perfect location to the Main Street and beach . Jim and Tammy were the most amazing hosts and thought of absolutely everything to make our stay perfect . We can’t wait to come back ! Thank you Tammy and Jim !!

Bay Haven Inn is unquestionably a haven! We always sail over to Cape Charles and this year decided to drive and spend a few days. What a treat -- the Inn is inviting, beautiful and the Inkeepers, Tammy and Jim are delightful, knowledgeable about the history of Cape Charles and great to sit and talk to. The hosts have paid close attention to the things that make a B&B stay special....welcoming home, great location, comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast, access to coffee, tea, and refreshments all day....and most importantly happy hosts who are exceptionally helpful.

The Inn is beautiful and it’s located on the Bay in the quaint town of Cape Charles, Virginia. We were warmly greeted by the lovely innkeeper, Tammy. Throughout our visit, she made sure we were comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast that she served was beautifully presented and tasted equally delicious. It was hard to leave this spa-like a**osphere.

We loved every minute of it! The inn is so cute and wonderful! The hosts are the sweetest and had great insight. Top notch and we can’t wait to go back! Super clean and comfy! Great yard and outdoor space of weather permits! They have nice little touches everywhere that make the stay even better!

Delightful property, very comfortable and wonderfully friendly owners. I was leaving very early, but they made a point of having coffee for me and even some breakfast to go. Good location and a very relaxing experience Would recommend this place to anyone

Wonderful bed and breakfast with terrific host in a wonderful small town a**osphere, don’t miss the hot breakfast and all of the great ideas for things to do and see at the start of the day. Restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance . Enjoy!!
