歐比特卡尼德洛露營飯店

Dit is GEEN camping, maar een camperplaats. Ze proberen zoveel mogelijk mobilhomes op een plaats te duwen , zodanig dat je zelfs geen tafeltje of stoeltje meer kunt plaatsen naast je caravan of camper. Ook zeer onvriendelijk personeel en niet proper. Vuil sanitair. Het enige positieve is dat de ligging nabij Porto goed is, maar daar is het dan ook mee gezegd. Heb al beter gestaan op echte camperplaatsen. Onwaardig dit een camping te noemen.

Sono stato per una notte al campeggio. Pulito ordinato, ma infrastrutture che risentono del tempo. Vicinissimo ad una ciclabile che corre sul lungomare. Per visitare Porto consiglio di arrivare con le bici vicino al porto poi prendere un uber ( ho speso circa 5 euro). A mio parere troppo caro una notte 2 persone + camper ed elettricità circa 40 euro.

The camping site Orbitur Canidelo is located in Vila Nova de Gaia. It is relatively distant from Porto, but offers the advantage of being by the seaside. It is not very spacious and tends to be a bit cramped. The reception was professional. The sanitary facilities were very clean. There is a restaurant, a swimming pool and a small shop. This is a good option for those who want to join leisure at the beach with city visits. It is however not advisable, if you want to concentrate only on the city discovery...

Great location and facilities are a little tired but still ok, pool great, restaurant friendly with great prices. Local area is fantastic for walking & cycling plus you can get to Porto cheap using UBER. We will return as it’s just a great site & atmosphere in this area.

The site is worthy of three and a half stars, and it seems as though they are in the process of improving it, so eventually, I think they will achieve an even higher rating. The location is just across the road from a lovely beach, which is an advantage. The sites aren’t large, but they are adequate. The main amenities area is old and dated. It really needs an upgrade, but it is very clean. There is a beautiful new amenities block next to the pool, but unfortunately, it only opens pool hours, so isn’t available during the peak morning time. As it is so much nicer than the main block, I suspect they know people would choose it instead, and it wouldn’t be able to accommodate the numbers. There is a regular bus to Porto just a few minutes walk from the camp, only €1.90 each way, so it’s very convenient to visit the city. It takes approximately 30 minutes. There is a very good supermarket just 1km from the campsite which was very useful for us, as we were travelling in a motor home. To visit Porto, this was a really good choice for us.
