Its a good place for a family get away, clean and very close to the water... Though, my biggest negative was that they over charged me by 500usd, when i called front desk to ask they guy was confidently telling me it was for taxes, so i asked to speak to the supervisor or manager, then suddenly he seem to find the that it was a mistake on their part. Since i paid for my stay upfront, he said i had to be asking the restaurants to call them so they will be deducting from that amount and the balance would be refunded at check out. I checked out and i was told my balance would be paid between a week to three weeks... Thats a pretty huge tax or mistake, or whatever that was. Still waiting on my refund its been a week now.

The concierge service was really great here. Adrian was very helpful and had a friendly upbeat energy and helped book a trip to chichen itza, which turned out to be awesome. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Restaurants were good, but its resort prices so kinda expensive sometimes. I didnt go in the pool at all because the beach behind the hotel is so incredible it seemed like a crime to swim anywhere else. Altogether hreat experience.

From making repairs on our bedroom door lasting over two hours, to room not being equipped properly, shower doors not clean well (seemed someone else used that room), worker at pool area telling us and others that the hot tub was closed when in fact its open 24 hours. The food at the theme restaurant was warm/cold. Just very unpleasant stay. We were moved to a different room which it was better, however we wasted so much time that we couldn't enjoy any amenities and missed the dinner show. We decided to move to a different hotel. We were extremely disappointed. We would not recommend this location at all.

I really enjoyed the room that we stayed in. It was very quiet. Very clean. The only complaint I have is the people that try to get you to talk to them for 90 minutes about a timeshare and aren't very polite when you decline their offers. Better than that, I recommend staying at the Westin lagunamar

Not a good place to stay. Staff and their managers only try to make money from you and they don’t care about service. Their tour packages are very expensive as compare to other service providers. If you show them the proof then they will give you time share options and there they will rip you off. They literally push you for selling their products, if you don’t seem to taking they will tear the papers in front of you and misbehave in all the aspects. Better look for some other place if you really want to have pleasant Cancun trip.
