Probably the best B n B you will find on Vancouver Island !!! Lorrie is a fabulous host, the room (we got the ocean view room) is just perfect and very cozy. She makes sure you have everything you need. Her breaky's are also just fabulous too. Not if but when we come back to the area, I wouldn't even think about staying elsewhere.

I had the privilege of staying with Lorrie on either end of my trip with Grey Wolf Expeditions. Wow, what a great experience I had in her lovely home! I stayed in both rooms they are well appointed, with lovely bathrooms, comfy beds and robes!! Her house has a view of the river. After a delicious pancake breakfast, I wrapped up on her back patio and enjoyed her garden while I journaled. I loved meeting her guests who were also enjoying their stay at Money Pennies. I learned about Squamish and even went to an event held in Campbell river. She recommended wonderful restaurants. Her omelettes are incredible! I felt like I was at a long term friends’ house! She shared an incredible life’s journey and is equally interested in her guests! It was an exceptional experience! I will hopefully see her again soon!

What a wonderful place to stay. Lori made me feel right at home and really went above and beyond to welcome me to Campbell River. You could not ask for a better experience as a traveler. If you need a place to stay in the area, look no further.

The owner, Lorrie Murphy, makes you feel at home the minute you arrive! Makes you feel like family! Very helpful, friendly, and is never too busy for us!

This easy to find B&B in the edge of town above the harbour area, was not a disappointment. The host Lorrie was excellent and the breakfasts were equally good. The room was lovely, the bedding luxurious, and comfortable. The difference between a hotel and good a B&B certainly was clear. No contest, the B&B wins hands down! The host helped with our long overdue washing and her suggestions for places to eat, were spot on. Thoroughly recommended if you're visiting this lovely town.
