Came here with Family and arrived early, gave us the room early. Check in was good and staff were great. Location is right next to the train station and just off the motorway. The staff are really nice and the breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and not so much outside noise! Overall see points below; Great Location! Lovely Staff! Good Breakfast! Clean! Just a note that the navigation takes you to the other side of the train station, check google maps for exact location.

This was our second visit and we were warmly welcomed and recognised from our previous visit. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting IWM Duxford or Cambridge. We did both during our stay and the museum is a 6 minute drive away. Cambridge is a 10 minute train journey away and as the hotel backs on to Whittleford Parkway Train Station it was ideal. The staff are all friendly and engage with the guests. Jason on reception is very attentive and friendly, as were the other staff from reception, bar and breakfast area. The rooms are of a comparable level to other budget hotels and are clean and well maintained. The tariff compared favourably with similar hotels and includes breakfast. The buffet contains a good selection of hot and cold foods. The scrambled eggs are the best I’ve had at a buffet style breakfast. We had dinner one night and the evening staff appear to cover a variety of roles reception, bar and kitchen but do so excellently and with a high level of customer service.

One night stay made comfortable by staff eager to help. Thank you to Mallika for warm welcome. She was aware of the communication prior to our arrival in particular of our long long haul flight and request related to it. Great location next to train station. clean rooms and decent breakfast. In particular staff was helpful and polite. Thank you

The hotel is generally well presented, reception staff had been very accommodation and empathetic during the booking phase over the phone. My partner and I checked in to the accessible room and was immediately aware of an odd smell, to me it smelt like a tom cat had been in the room, having travelled from South Dorset we were very tired and decided to sort it out in the morning as it was now 10.30pm, Almost ready for bed I moved my partners single bed closer to mine, at this point I was aware that the carpet was wet and that I was standing in the leakage. During the night the smell became worse so we opened the window and turned the fan on (knowing that we wouldn't be given an alternate room as I had enquired before booking an this room was the only room in the hotel that has a right transfer toilet for my paraplegic partner). The smell was also present in the bathroom, we suspected a blocked sewerage pipe. Next morning we reported it to a male receptionist who said he'd make the maintenance team aware of this, I was left unconvinced that he really cared and failed to apologies for the inconvenience or offer any reduction in the cost of our stay! The breakfast was very good and the waiting staff were very helpful and polite. A real shame about the overall outcome which has tarnished the enjoyment of our stay.

The experience was amazing, the staff were very friendly and professional,a busy hotel with lots events going on. The hotel location is a bit tricky to find on Google maps due to its location, apart from this we enjoyed our lay over on our way back home to London from Manchester .

We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the carpark. Good size room, two large single and very comfortable beds. TV, kettle/mugs/coffee & tea. WIFI works well. Excellent bathroom with walk-in shower, plenty of hot water and nice towels. Aircon does work but is very noisy of you are a light sleeper. The window can open but the hotel is next to a busy road which again is a problem if you are light sleeper. We had the inclusive breakfast which was excellent and included hot food. All of the staff were hard working, efficient, friendly and pleasant. The hotel is clean and in good condition.

The hotel was impeccably clean and offered a peaceful environment at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast options could be improved. Conveniently, the train station is just behind the hotel. Additionally, it’s only a 10-minute drive to the Duxford museum, making it an excellent location for visitors.

We booked 2 nights here as had some activities planned in Cambridge. We arrived late and were tired, we found that the room was very compact but had all we needed. However we found the cleanliness was not good, the bathroom was not very clean, and we found a used tampon behind the door. The sofa bed for our 11 year old was very uncomfortable, the mattress was paper thin. She had a very uncomfortable night, and said she could feel the springs underneath. At breakfast I approached Hardeep and told her about the issues we'd had. She immediately said she would check with housekeeping to move rooms. She apologised and reassured me she would fix this. We were having breakfast and after 10 mins she returned and said she was moving us to another room, but it was still being cleaned, we had a day out planned so she said she would look after our luggage & leave our key card at reception. When we returned we found that our luggage had been put in our new room along with a complimentary bottle of wine & snacks. The room was very clean and both beds were comfortable. I really want to commend Hardeeps' excellent customer service. She was friendly, approachable and quick to problem solve. She is a credit to your company, treat her well! Thank you Hardeep for being so attentive and making our stay more comfortable

Booked 1 night 14th May through IHG website and received a reservation confirmation email. Arrived at the hotel at 0130 (travelled from Europe for a meeting the next day) only to be told there were no rooms available. Told to drive to Cambridge and find another hotel (I wasn't familiar with the area) took me 2 hrs to find an alternative hotel. Poor customer service, no duty of care, would never stay here again.
