The staff was friendly and accommodating. We appreciated being personally walked to our room and having free breakfast and coffee delivered in the morning. While the lobby has been nicely updated, the rooms need painting and the fountain by the pool which was the main focal point had a huge yellow stain on it which was an eyesore. Also, we went on a Thursday and there was no kind of service by the pool at all which was disappointing. The bed was pretty small for two people and not very comfortable. The amenities were excellent however and you really can't beat the location. We would probably go back on a weekend and get a bigger room.

We just returned from a 3 night stay and enjoyed the hotel tremendously. The staff - especially Derek - went above and beyond and were always gracious and welcoming. We had the free continental breakfast with stay and it is personally delivered to your room. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Calistoga and within walking distance to a number of restaurants and other attractions. One thing to note is that it does not have its own parking lot but it was easy to find street parking.

Location was great. Main restaurant was closed and pub's food was not that great. Parking was an issue especially with the rain. Staff was excellent. No elevator, so you need to be able to walk up stairs for the rooms. Room was comfy. Liked the heated pool and spa.. but wished all of the jets worked in the spa. It was rather pricy...

First and foremost: THE STAFF! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The location is great - other attractions are easily walkable from the hotel.

We very much enjoyed our two-night stay at this perfectly located hotel. Walking distance to boutiques & restaurants. Lovely room!

Very nice hotel in a beautiful historic building. Great location on Calistoga’s main street.

Amazing place, conveniently located downtown. Only complaint would be the morning coffee and pastries…same three slices of cake for over two years. A little variety would be nice. Overall an amazing place!

We liked the 24 hour pool access (heated pool and the mineral water whirlpool). We stayed in one of the cottages and would have loved to have two wine glasses (we wound up sharing the single one provided). The location is lovely and Calistoga is very quaint. We are bay area natives and may come back for another stay again soon.

Matt and Matthew at the front desk greeted my wife and i graciously. And made us feel welcomed.
