The pool at Hotel Arts was lovely—we were on a staycation, and the pool really made us feel like we were on a tropical holiday. The rooms and the service were also everything you would want out of a hotel, with a location to boot. Great experience all around.

The beginning on the trip was good. The night of our stay we encountered a big issue in our room. The bathroom & sleeping area had a bug issue. There were bugs in the bed, the walls & ceilings. We called front desk to resolve the issue. The solution was to vacuum up the bugs. Still after maintenance left we were up killing bugs in our room.

The hotel was just average with rooms being nice. Access to the Pool was odd with priority given to those non guest that made reservations. Staff were constantly questioning if you had made a reservation even if you were a guest of the hotel.
There are definitely better alternatives in Downtown Calgary that focus on the guest experience.

The handle of the shower really dirty and can be cleaner easily. Not sure why so oily and dirty. And including the sink
The most terrible part is the air conditioner, like a motor, very very loud noise if you turn on. We did not have a good sleep there. Finally we turned off the AC and opened the door, but too noise from outside.
The same price can absolutely get a better place.
But the pool is good.

Les photos ne représentent pas l’hôtel! La piscine et restaurants sont super mais les chambres laissent à désirer! Elle ont besoin d’amour. Pas super bien entretenue/propreté et base de lit en cuir toute déchirée et gros tapis … chambre avec balcon mais aucune chaise.. tous les balcons étaient sans chaise ??!

I believe i paid $30 per night extra for parking at booking to ******* but was told that self parking is free! The email confirmation for my booking says it is free but i did nit notched at the time!

Les chambres seraient du pour être rénovées. Vieux bain, robinetterie désuète, base de lit en similicuir tout déchiré.
L’ensemble de la chambre et de l’hôtel propre.
Le restaurant bistro, peu de choix et trop dispendieux pour ce qu’on nous sert.

Positive - Good location, friendly staff.
Negative - bathroom wasn’t cleaned throughly, hair around the sink and bathtub. Mirror was splattered with what looked like shaving cream.
