塞拉里旅館(Sierra Inn)

My husband, our son and i stayed one night and will never stay again . We had bought a pie , put it in the refrigerator, opened the refrigerator to eat some of it and there was a cockroach crawling on top of it. This was the only place to stay so unfortunately we did. The next morning I mentioned it to the manager and he dealt with the situation as if it was no big deal.

This wasn't what I expected. The pics are all very nice and displayed the layout of my room, however, they didn't, at all, represent the condition of the room. Although my bed was clean, there were live roaches, dead roaches; smashed on the ceiling & walls, and dead insects all over the floor. My door (room 203) could not be opened from the inside after closing. A friendly neighbor informed me that I had to open the window and place my key card in front of the sensor and turn the handle from outside. This has to be a fire hazard. Needless to say, it wasn't a new problem and the very friendly gentleman who checked me in, knew of it when I asked for a different room; which was not available. I slept, poorly, with the lights on all night (in the hope of keeping the roaches at bay) and won't be returning.

The check in was pleasant, easy and quick. Our stay was for 5 days and there were no unpleasant issues while we were there.

The newly remodeled rooms are so nice! The towel art on the bed was such a nice touch! Weve stayed here many times and the new owners have done a great job with this place. Felt like we were in a big city hotel.

I was just upset about the 15 flys waiting for me in my room I spent time killing flys wasn’t very happy but was tired.

It’s not the greatest neighborhood but the staff definitely went above and beyond for my visit. The power was out all over the region but they checked me in flawlessly. When the power came back on, I was greeted with a lovely room.

Everything was fine- as others have stated, the outside looks to be under renovation, but rooms are nice and new. Staff friendly, but on the Orbitz page for the hotel it clearly states that pets are $15/night. They charged me $30. When I realized this, Orbitz called them and they refused to refund, giving some excuse that made not sense (like that was for a different website and the room discount cancels that pet rate). They did not honor the price. Orbitz ended up giving me a coupon, which is great, but I wasted a bunch of time. I chose that hotel based on that pet fee and then they didn't honor it.

Rooms were nicely remodeled period, the shower pressure was great, the bed was terrific period, I would stay here again or trying to stay there weekly once I get a job
