拉康吉里亞餐廳飯店(Hotel Ristorante la Conchiglia)

I cannot understand the bad reviews on here… we loved everything about this hotel! Beautiful location and we loved Cala Ganone and walking around during day and night. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was so perfectly thought out. More than enough choice and I was so well looked after being gluten free. In fact thanks to the member of staff (lady) who looked after me everyday! We ate in the restaurant most evenings and the food and service was great. The room was so clean and nice balcony. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I do usually. We look forward to staying here again next year!

We are in Cala Gonone at 17.00 we wanted to have a simple aperitif we took two Spritz elaborated around € 13.00 and they brought us a small bowl with peanuts, at our polite request: the coctails are accompanied by snacks (chips, olives ..) nothing of exaggerated!!! They answered us from 18.00 Too bad it wasn't written anywhere. When we then always politely underlined our thoughts, the management said NO from 18.00 onwards. Reception to Italian tourism. The kitchen however was open for club sandwiches and more including spritzes for foreigners sitting nearby at 5.15pm How sad....

To be honest: More than a 4 stars is a 3+ stars Hotel. Positive aspects: location and the possibility to use the private parking but at a very reasonable additional charge. We also appreciated the laundry service at a very reasonable price as well. On the other hand, we had aunts in the room and when we arrived the patio furniture had not been cleaned. In addition, we found "tacky" for a 4 stars hotel, to post, in the breakfast room, a sign saying "Do not take out food otherwise you will be charged". In fact he staff at the breakfast, more than being useful, seemed to be there only to monitor you. In fact we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar (like fresh made cappuccino or coffee) or if they could help with anything, no one word, they were just standing and looking at us. Conclusion: Great location, average hotel, just do not expect a 4 stars level hotel or a white gloves treatment.

Lovely family run hotel. Stayed for a week May 2023 on half board. Had a side Seaview room with Balcony. Large room and large new shower. Modern and clean. Comfortable mattress and pillows. (most important for us) Breakfast- cereals, croissants toast fresh honeycomb, jams. Homemade cakes. Cold meats, fruit, juice and coffee. Not as good as Evening meal. Evening meal - large 3 courses with a choice Amazing Risotto for starter. I did try to have as a main but Waiter was so polite he waited for me to finish. Half Board just pay for drinks. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lovely seafront location. Beaches around all seem to be fine shingle not sand. Cala Gonone is at the bottom of a 5km zigzag road fairly recent. Don't use Google maps to go a different way out as this was a narrow scary road. You need a car to stay here. Parking on streets was sometimes available but there is a car park which is €5 a night. Lots of boat trips from the harbour. Very pretty but was 1 or 2 too many beach stops for us over 60. We didn't pay extra to do walk in the large cave. Happy we stayed here doesn't deserve negative reviews.

We were in Cala Gonone last year and ate at the restaurant on the sidewalk , we said if we ever came back this is where we would stay, and here we are back there. Our room was very large, great size balcony and a spa, so worth having the so to cool down from the extreme heat. All staff are just so friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent. Only minor thing was the room cleaning, no empty glasses were removed , minor as l said but overall we would def come back. The location is excellent, great beaches over the road, pebble beaches, port ten min stroll. Thankyou to our wonderful host who always had a smile, she is the owner and works like a Trojan to make all happy. Oh and the breakfast was amazing also.

Em relação ao atendimento todos foram muito amáveis Em relação ao café da manhã estava muito bom Em relação a localização foi perfeita pra nós pois ficamos lá pois era perro do porto e como fizemos passeios de barco então ficou muito fácil Em relação ao quarto, assim que entramos a janela do banheiro estava aberta e tinha um motivo, o cheiro vindo do ralo do chuveiro era insuportável, a noite tivemos que fechar a janela do banheiro e realmente a noite achei que ia vomitar de tão horrível que era o cheiro no quarto, na manhã seguinte pedi pra alguém subir no quarto pra que sentissem o cheiro e acredito que foi a dona que subiu e ela falou que não estava sentindo absolutamente nada😱😱😱eu falei pra ela, ahhhh para né, não é verdade, você sabe que está insuportável e aí ela falou que era um problema de Calagonone com o sistema de esgoto da cidade é um problema, até acreditei pois realmente andando pela cidade sentimos esse cheiro, ela falou que naquele dia não tinha quarto disponível para trocarmos e somente teria mo dia seguinte, mas como logo iríamos embora então falei que tudo bem e eu mesma resolvi um poucoooo o cheiro colocando um plástico para tapar o ralo, mas confesso que fiquei feliz de ficar poucos dias(apenas 2)pois nem eu nem meu marido aguentávamos mais aquele cheiro.

I would say this hotel is a budget hotel, it’s definitely not 4* Photos don’t look like the hotel Location is good, however apart from that the beds were very uncomfortable, as the pillows were so thin. The breakfast was really poor

The location was amazing. The bar on the waterfront was convenient. There was plenty of variety when it came to breakfast. Access to the pool involved a bit of a climb and although there was a bar there was no food available.
