So we just checked in and we’re staying for a week. I’m a housekeeping supervisor so I did what any housekeeper would do in a hotel room, do a thorough inspection! At first glance I could see the room was old and dusty. Had a closer look and to my surprise everything was dusty and dirty. Dust on air vents above the stove, aircon full of mould and dust all over, the cups were dirty, the bar fridge had hair in it and mould in the shower. Great location but filthy room.

I made the booking for 3 people (my parents and me), four months before the date. When I was at the airport (one hour before the check-in), they called me to tell me that they didn't have a room for 3 and one of us needed to sleep on the ARMCHAIR. My parents are 65 years old so I said NO and that I wanted to talk with the manager. She took the phone and I explained that I was going to stay there for ONE MONTH, so it was impossible to sleep in the armchair. She started yelling at me and she told me literally "I don't mind, I am going to cancel the booking and that is all". I begged her to not cancel it and to let me buy a mattress and put it there, because it was going to be impossible to find a flat for the whole month. She said yes and after that I hoped that she was going to try to fix the bad management that they had, but instead of that... - they DIDN'T CLEAN the room OR CHANGE THE SHEETS/TOWELS in the whole month - they only gave us two towels, so we need to bought another one - they gave us one 20ml shampoo and body soap for the whole month And of course, the rooms are nothing compared to the pictures!

Centrally located- no frills Hotel is as advertised, in need of renovation but we always had the pool to ourselves and apartment was very spacious. So if you are on a budget and after a no frills place to stay in central Cairns I highly recommend.

Good Stay in Cairns This place was pretty good. It was conveniently located near everything in Cairns. It was right accross the street from a grocery store which was helpful. There were lots of eateries around and about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the Esplanade lagoon and pier. We liked that the place was very spacious. The room was a little old but not that bad. The bedroom was a little small and I get why other people were complaining about the door not opening all the way because of the bed, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us. The water pressure in the shower was excellent for hot water, but really poor for cold water. Again, not a big deal. The room had a washer and dryer which were convenient for us since we were on an extended vacation. The AC worked well which we liked since it can get really hot and humid in Cairns. The only real issue we had was the internet which kept dropping (maybe since we were on the 6th floor, the signal wasn't as strong). The room had a great balcony with a view to the mountains which was nice during the sunset times. Be warned, there can be a lot of noise because it's on a main street and the birds can be very loud but to us it wasn't that bad. We liked seeing all the birds lol At the end of the day, we would definitely stay here again. The convenient central location plus the size of the apartment are enough for us to come back again.

廚房和休息區以及臥室。空間不錯，適合住幾天。乾淨整潔。有烘乾機和洗衣機，所以可以自己洗毛巾。沒有日常維護。烘乾機過熱且無法正常運作。最大的優點是位置。伍爾沃斯對面。愛爾蘭酒吧就在轉角處，還有許多亞洲小地方。步行即可到達港口和前往綠島的渡輪。公寓設有一個小陽台。一個游泳池。空調運作良好。 非常適合不太昂貴的住宿。
