"Due to my work I'm used to travel and stay in hotels. Sometimes, i may feel disillusioned but never as far as during my stay in this room ! Chamber n°9. 08 PM. I wanted to have a shower and then I noticed there was only hot water available (there are 2 old separate taps for hot / cold). The second one for cold water didn't provide any water at all. I went down to the desk. The desk was already officially closed... I met a guy who asked me If I had turned the tap the right way (call me stupide, dude !). He said he couldn't nothing at all as every room was booked. He just proposed me to have a shower from 10/00 AM the next day, once people have left their room ! In the morning, when I went down for breakfast I asked for the manager. Who is he ? Where is he ? Does he work somtimes in his hotel ? I never met him... The woman in charge of the breakfast and cjheck-out was informed of my problem. She simply told me she couldn't do anything else that letting me have a shower in the next room the occupier had just left ! At no time nor the guy nor the woman even went to see in my room if they could solve the problem or simply check it was really broken ! It sounds like the staff absolutely doesn’t care about the customers. Moreover I have to say the cleaning under the toilet seat was .... undone since a very long time. Thus, I paid the full price for a stay in a crappy location. At no time I met the manager and I didn't have any discount on my bil. Shame on St Etienne Hotel, a place you'd better avoid to stay in. Please note, I have pictures and video available testifying this current review. "

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."
