Seems a bit understaffed, especially in the restaurants. Beach access signage needs to be updated as well as the staff need to be informed when one or more of the gates/access are closed. In general, the resort is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Don't be deceived by the humble exterior of your bungalow. Inside awaits the perfect blend of understated luxury. We stayed three nights but could easily have stayed a wee or two. Initially I was concerned that the location outside of Byron proper would have been a negative. I was wrong. If you eventually tire from the many facilities provided at the resort, the township is a quick electric train ride away!

Elements of Byron boasts beautiful, well-kept grounds that create a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The resort features two pools: a family-friendly pool complete with a spa and an adult-only pool that includes a swim-up bar, perfect for unwinding. However, there are some drawbacks to note. The beach access is in need of improvement, and the location outside of town requires reliance on Ubers for trips to the main center, which can be inconvenient. One of the most frustrating aspects is the check-in policy. Guests arriving from Ballina airport may find it absurd that they cannot access the pool until 12 PM, a rule that seems out of place compared to other hotels, including all-inclusive resorts. The check-out process is similarly rigid, leaving guests to either wait in the foyer or leave early. On a positive note, the bell boys provide friendly and attentive service, enhancing the overall experience. The two-bedroom villas are spacious and well-suited for families, with a gorgeous enclosed balcony that features a heater for added comfort. Despite these highlights, my experience was overshadowed by the restrictive policies and the need for better beach access. Given the overall experience, I wouldn’t choose to stay at Elements of Byron again.

When you drive to your villa you wonder if you made a bad choice, beautiful lush grounds but the villas more shipping container than anything. Once you open the door however you have a beautiful space. See photos. Our chosen villa for two people was spacious, the king bed very comfortable, great shower, great wifi. My only gripe is a very poorly designed bath, my not very broad shoulders couldn't lie flat against the bath as it is too curved. We ate a few times in the resort at different locations and the results were mixed from ok to very good. Food was on the pricey end.Staff were helpful and friendly at all times. The solar train every hour up to 5pm to the town was fun way to get there. Uber was about $20.
