Pros: *very fun activities (beer pong, quiz, etc) * perfect location * nice lounge area * nice staff Cons: * in a ten people dorm there is only one bathroom * kitchen is disgusting at most times of the day (people just left their dishes) * don’t expect to get a spot by the pool, very crowded there

Uncomfortable, dirty and disappointing. The mattresses were woefully bad/worn out, which on the first night left my back in bits. This was then followed by regularly spotting ants and/or cockroaches on the floors and walls. The bunk itself I realised was being held together by zip ties and would tip several degrees while trying to climb in/out. I’d booked the 8 bed as that seemed like a manageable number for the ensuite, however, the 8 bed dorms are more like 10 bed dorms as twin rooms are attached. Overall the cleanliness is grim and the ensuite bathroom isn’t any better, most corners an are caked in a concrete of soap scum, sand, and skin debris. Supposedly the rooms are cleaned twice a day, I’m almost certain that is a lie, as various marks and piles of sand remained for multiple days The common area is nice but it all has a very sticky unclean feel and the while some staff are lovely I found several to be utterly rude. The disappointment was culminated when I got back to the hotel after staying with a friend for a night to find my bed taken by someone else. (The hostel believes that their house keeper made an error and made up the bed but didn’t check the tag, and a new guest then chose to move bed tags and steal the bed) Having complained via their app to make sure it was logged and asked for my money back as I no longer felt comfortable staying in the hostel, the hostel has been nothing short of a disgrace. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. There are far nicer and newer places to stay nearby.

I have waited till I visited other hostels before posting this review as I didn’t want to be unfair. Honestly this place is a dump. Rooms are cold and dirty (infested with wood lice). For you to use the showers you have to go outside in the cold before entering them. Whilst checking in the guy got his dinner and paid more attention to it than helping us check in, he was very rude and dismissive. I gave the two stars (generous) purely because it had a chilled environment downstairs and a free Pac-Man machine.

This hostel is great for solo travellers and I absolutely loved the four nights I spent here. The gym was decent for a hostel gym. I stayed in the all female room which was very clean, excluding the showers which were a bit dirty but not too bad. I only attended film night at this hostel as I made a good group of friends to do activities with but the communication regarding which films were being chosen were good. Unfortunately building works were occurring during my stay, but the only things not accessible were the pool (which it’s probably too cold for anyway) and some parking spaces but I didn’t have a car. The location of this hostel is good: 5 minute walk to the main beach, 2-3 walk for clothing and food shops.

The stay was perfect, way more than what i expected The private room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff were nice and informative. Thank you for the time 🙏

A good hostel with good facilities, including pool area, social area and kitchen. The people who work here are friendly and you get a free welcome drink on arrival. Dorms are swept through and hand towels replenished in bathrooms everyday. However, the biggest downfall was the bedrooms. The mattresses are thin so it feels like you're sleeping on the metal rack on the bunkbed. There are no curtains or bed side lamps for each bed. Also, was in a 10 bed dorm with no curtains for windows and one bathroom to share which isn't practical. Despite this, the atmosphere of the hotel is good.
