We camped for two nights and loved the bush setting. Excellent wild caught barramundi and chips for their Friday/Saturday takeaways! Enjoyed gliding in their canoes along the river with magnificent reflections. Nice Cafe to visit down the road. Free tennis and badminton equipment and courts. All-in-all a 'top' place.

We enjoyed a warm friendly welcome at Ferns hideaway. What a beautiful location to camp in the bush at site 30 towards the river. We had the use of the canoe and had a beautiful paddle to the rapids about 45 mins up river. Everything at Ferns is perfect nice pool , clean toilets, great camping spots with firepits too. Next time we would like to visit when the restaurant is open and brings friends to stay in the fantastic bush cabins they are buried in the bush very private. Cannot wait to visit again.

Came to stay for a little getaway with my husband. We didn’t know what to expect but we’re absolutely amazed with what we got. This place is just magical, even with other guests around we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. With each cabin tucked away in its own private area. The creek is just a short walk away with canoes ready and waiting for you to enjoy the picturesque creek. If that’s not your thing that’s ok they have you covered with a beautiful unground pool and a spa. There is so much for you to do here but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to do everything. we will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Staying at Fern’s was perfect for our family getaway during the Christmas Holidays. The cabins are so spacious, can sleep up to 6 people and the property is so tranquil and lovely! Highly recommend!!!

We had a lovely stay, it was quiet and tranquil and Wayne and his staff were lovely and helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property. Our cabin was lovely, comfortable and presented well.

Stunning rainforest location, immaculate grounds, wonderful hosts, nature at its best. Rustic cabins are ideally situated, private and comfortable. Lots to do with tennis, pool etc…. Some lovely walking tracks and a canoe trip down the creek is a must! Highly recommend!

Great location, great hosts and really quiet and relaxing gateway. Would definitely recommend to stay. The check-in was easy, there are canoes and a creek to go in and the spa is very relaxing with the Tea Tree water. Would definitely book again if we are up this way.
