艾宜拉姆比布魯斯飯店(Ahiram Hotel Byblos)

Ich war während meiner Libanon Rundreise 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel untergebracht. Kleines privates Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal und einem extrem netten Patron. Zur Altstadt und den Ausgrabungen ist es nicht weit. Zimmer mit Balkon und direkten Blick aufs Meer. Sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war ausreichend aber das vom Patron servierte Abendessen war super lecker: Landestypische Vorspeisen, fangfrischen Fisch....

I spent 3 nights in this hotel during my summer holiday in Lebanon. It was a terrible and compounded version of what other travelers experienced. Upon arrival, no hair dryer in the room, no remote control for the air conditioning (set at 16 degrees C): one must ask them at the reception. Hotel needs some kind of renovation as it is pretty old. The only good thing: the location facing the sea, with a pebbly beach just outside the hotel and near the Byblos souk and archeological site. Important: the beach the hotel claims to own is actually a public beach, with some folks swimming and eating around all day long. Sleeping in this hotel is mission impossible. Why? First, the A/C kept making weird noises, turning off by itself, shaking and banging as if it was possessed. Second, the double windows on the balcony are of a very bad quality: impossible to sleep as the nearby seafood restaurant kept playing loud Arabic music until 1:30 am, while the public beach below was filled with wild people playing loud music right under my balcony until 3:00 am. Third, acoustic room insulation from corridor and other rooms is non-existent, as you can hear your neighbors talking and slamming doors nighttime as if they were inside your own room! The breakfast and the dinner? Typical Lebanese (abundant) buffet delivered directly at the table with no possibility of variation or choice. Despite the friendliness of the hotel team, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay there ever again.

Its not luxurious but its clean with an easygoing staff. We got a room with balcony towards the sea and that will always be a great memory. Its situated pretty close to the old souk, harbour and Crusader castle, within walking distance and the beach is just a stroll away.

The most incredible customer service I have ever experienced in my life. LV and Christian made me feel like a Queen 👸 everything was possible! All the hotel staff was friendly and helpful I just don’t know their names :) Hotel room was always sparkling clean with spectacular view of the sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves was incredible. Breakfast was plenty full and the lady in the kitchen made the best egg omelette 😋 Location of the hotel was perfect. Short walk to the town. By the end of my stay learned all the shortcuts :)

This hotel is excellent in everything. Close to the old souk.. 5 min walking to the beach.. Excellent breakfast... Love the polite and friendly staff. The atmosphere is very waw... You sleep and wake up on the sound of the waves.. Recommended by me a lot.

C'est un petit hôtel des années 70 qui est resté comme cela. Le hall d'entrée est très bien, les petits salons neuf donnent bonne haute. Mais les chambres c'est une autre histoire. Les chambres sont bien, annoncées pour 30 m2, ce n'est pas le cas, plus 20 m2. Le sol est en parquet pvc collé, parfois décollé et surtout usé. Les rideaux marrons sentent le tabac froid des dernières voyageurs du siècle précédent. La climatisation est assez capricieuse. A chaque changement de température, il faut disjoncter l'ensemble. En hiver, il fait froid dans la chambre. La vielle couverture ne suffit pas. Pour avoir 19°C dans la chambre il faut mettre la ventilation à fond et à 29°C. On nous a dit qu'elle était récente. Oui, probablement, il y a 20 ans. Le radiateur du chauffage central est juste décoratif. La salle de bain avec une baignoire et un lavabo. Vous ferez des économies d'eau, la pression est tellement faible. Il est proposé comme 3 étoiles, il faut dire plus tôt 2 étoiles. Le parking est en face, non sécurisé. La nuit l'accès est fermé par une barrière. donc on s'est garé au bord de la rue. L'accueil est agréable et avenant. Pour avoir une bouilloire et des tasses il faut demander à la réception.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer, ich kann von meinem Zimmer aus das Meer rauschen hören und auf dem Balkon sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Nur wenige Schritte weiter bin ich in der historischen Altstadt und kann die Kreuzritterburg besichtigen und die vielen historisch wertvollen Ausgrabungsstätten.Im Restaurant des Hotels mit Terrasse zum Meer bekommt man wunderbare libanesische Speisen serviert. Alles schmeckt ausgesprochen gut. Auch die Weine sind sehr gut hier, Besonders schön ist es, dass man sieht, wie freudig das Team dafür sorgt, dass es uns als Gästen gut geht. Auch der Chef kommt immer wieder vorbei und fragt wie es uns geht. Das Hotel ist zwar kein fünf Sterne Hotel, dafür ein sehr angenehmer Familienbetrieb. Das Bett ist bequem und auch der sonstige Komfort ist gegeben wie Fahrstuhl, großer Balkon, Klimaanlage, Fernseher und schönes Bad. Im Bad funktioniert alles prima. Aber am besten ist es dass man nach den Ausflügen am Nachmittag ganz schnell zu Fuß in der Altstadt ist und sich dort in ein Café oder 1 bar setzen kann und das Leben genießen
