Perfect place in Outerbanks. Enjoyed the secluded and private beach. Excellent sunrise view.. Perfect place for families with kids and pets.

Not sure why it is called "Lighthouse View Oceanfront". We definitely could not see a lighthouse, And the necessary use of sandbags on the beachfront takes away from the "beach ambience." But very clean. The bed could have been more firm, but that's a personal preference.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in the poolside doubles. The location is perfect it truly can’t get any better. You walk right onto the beach, which was beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two adults and one child. Our beds were made every day, and the cleaning staff ladies were super sweet and helpful. That said, there are several things that could be improved, and they’re deal-breakers for me, probably why I will not stay here again. The coffee machine was terrible, and the coffee itself was awful. The water from the sink and shower had a sewage smell, so we had to buy gallon water to brush our teeth. The toilet handle was broken; after flushing, you had to manually lift the handle back up, or the water wont flow back down. Lastly, the pillows were so thin and uncomfortable that it was hard to get a good night’s rest. Overall, the room was okay but could be much better especially for the high price!
