昆坎山克拉特度假民宿(Mt Quincan Crater Retreat)

A really lovely place to rest and rejuvenate. Mt Quincan Crater Retreat has 6 'tree houses' which are all private, secluded and generously sized. We enjoyed the breakfast provisions and goodies, the breathtaking and everchanging views. The reading nook and the outdoor shower were fabulous. We ordered a platter (which was huge and lovely and lasted two nights!!) and bubbles for arrival. Our tree house was a cosy, romantic place to really unwind, and take a break from it all. We only listened to the USB music (such a lovely touch) and there's no need for TV or a phone (except to take photos!)

Exceptional retreat with absolutely fabulous views. Every small detail had been thought about to make the stay comfortable, even down to the locally made pumpkin scones and bread and various treats brought to us on our arrival. Well rested.

Excellent venue and facilities which are designed to provide a discrete and relaxing experience and such was delivered perfectly. Quality breakfast food was provided for each of day and the outside shower was a new experience but thoroughly enjoyable to shower in company with nature. Highly recommended.

WOW!!! what an amazing experience, from the first contact of booking by friendly and accommodating staff to when we entered the retreat greeted by a grazing Platter and warm scones, sublime. Comfortable bed, beautifully laid out room with spa (with a view), large two person shower and a private outside shower (a true back to nature experience), pure romance and relaxation. Never even turned on the TV, serenity of the views from the couch to the valley was enough to inspire and rest. The staff provided more food than we could possibly eat. You want for nothing, you are truly pampered. They even recommended Little Eden restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner... another great service. We've decided to go back every 6 months to reconnect as a couple... no kids.. yaaay! BOOK IT!!

Surprised my husband for his 60th birthday by having 3 wonderful nights at White Cedar treehouse. On arrival you are welcomed by a lovely staff member and given a basket with a torch, binoculars, freshly baked pumpkin scones and delicious freshly baked bread. When we entered the treehouse the views are amazing. The treehouse itself is very clean, modern and well equipped. In the fridge was generous portions breakfast platter, milk, juice, jams, a variety of teas and cereals. The spa was relaxing, the outdoor shower was pretty good with plenty of hot water and a lovely comfy bed. We seen 2 tree kangaroos, couple of scrub turkeys and the little wallabies. Also the cows on the nearby farms that you hear in the mornings. It was a wonderful experience, something we won’t forget. Thank you to the staff , keep up the good work.

Our four-night stay in the Milky Wood treehouse was incredibly relaxing. This retreat perfectly combines nature and luxury, offering breathtaking countryside views. We were delighted by the sounds of birds and the opportunity to spot wallabies and red-legged pademelons. The fresh baked scones and well-stocked refrigerator for breakfast were a delightful touch. Exploring the property on the walks added to the overall experience. (If you are concerned about the lack of wifi, there was enough 4G signal to take a video call)

I love this place. I stayed here last December and I really liked here so I came back to stay again. Sometime we need to have such time away from everything. This is the place make it happen. I can’t tell you enough just you need to experience it.

What an amazing beautiful place to stay. Everything was awesome and the extras I ordered where way more than I expected. We will definitely be making it a yearly place. I would recommend you take your winter woollies your heading out as it gets a bit chilly especially for us North Queensland's.

Our stay was amazing! All expectations met. The attention to detail,  wow! Mt Quincan does wonders for the soul. Total relaxation for mind and body. We loved not seeing other humans. Just to hide away. We stayed in Kamala facing the inside of the crater for total seclusion. The food included for breakfast was superior quality products. The mega grazing platter was superb and plentiful. The merlot went down very smoothly, as well as the decanter of Port. For those wanting to do day trips around the Tablelands, everything is close by. We recommend the Lake Barrine Tea House and cruise, just 15 minutes drive. If you are looking for rejuvenation of body and mind, Mt Quincan is a must.
