I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the staff of La Estancia! We stayed in La Estancia for three days in April 2024. For anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay - this one is for you! Sadly we got sick coming from El Nido, but I couldn’t have asked for a nicer staff who was so accommodating the whole time. It was also the perfect place to take it easy and be taken care of! They showed real compassion and concern for us all. Thankfully, we got better quickly enough to do an island hopping tour. La Estancia is out of the way from town but places that are worth going to usually are! When we left for Coron, I realised we forgot a few things. They ensured I got them back by going out of their way to send my things via a transport service from Busuanga to Coron. Maraming salamat po.

This is a hidden gem in the Philippines. Meriel and staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The property is very unique and designed with local charm throughout. It is a 1 hour drive from the airport and Coron town proper however this provides you with the chance to see the beauty of the island countryside. We took the kids (9 & 10) and stayed in the villa with amazing views and private loft for the kids to hang out. We recommend kayaking to the private beach one day and renting a boat to visit Black Island another day. A very special, peaceful place. We will be back!
