The cottages are absolutely excellent. Well appointed, lovely linen, excellent kitchen facilities and equipment and even a washing line and pegs outside the back door. They are totally secluded, despite there being eight cottages on the property. So quiet - all you hear are the birds and you see the kangaroos hopping around in front of you! Each cottage also has a range of brochures detailing the attractions of the area. This is a hidden gem and well worth spending time there Thank you Ange and John

Very well equipped. Well separated cabins, great starter pack, keen recyclers Easy access. Loads of wildlife - especially early morning. There is no passing traffic. Easy 4km to town. Next time in Margaret river - we know where we will stay :=)

wonderful stay! it was a very comfortable little cottage with more than basic amenities. definitely my choice of accomodation for my next stay. big shout-out to the property manager, Ange who took good care of us and tended to us when we faced a minor inconvenience.

Our cottage (number 8), was everything that we could have possible asked for. The kitchen was well equipped, it had a large fridge, and a light breakfast was supplied. We could recycle, clean, the beds were comfortable and the rammed earth cottage was warm and cosy, especially with the wood burning fire. All cottages are privately located and my one piece of advice would be to book early as every cottage was booked for the time that we were there. Thank you so much for having us Jon and Ange.

Cosy, self-contained cottages beautifully situated in private bushland. The cottage was spotless and well-equipped with what we needed. The inclusion of juice and milk on check-in day was also well-appreciated, and my partner loved starting the fireplace up on cold nights. Check-in and out processes were also seamless and very quick. The cottages are spaced well apart so you can maintain privacy from your neighbours, and the walking trails make for an excellent way to kill a bit of an afternoon. There were kangaroos everywhere! I would definitely stay at Bussells again and recommend it to all.

We booked 4 cottages for our family for a special 70th birthday. The cottages were clean and tidy with everything we needed. Only 5 minutes drive into Margaret River and close to so many other attractions. It was lovely to see the kangaroos and the children enjoyed playing in the bush and riding their bikes. Would highly recommend a visit to Ellensbrook homestead! We hope to stay again at Bussell’s Bushland Cottages.
