Savoy staff were kind, friendly, and helpful.
Common areas in hotel were well kept for a 100 year hotel.
Cost was reasonable.
Rooms are smaller than normal (older hotel) but of fair quality.
Breakfast and meals were of good quality and taste.
NOTE: Heat/AC option is set by maintenance for a "section" of rooms, not each individual room controlling whether they want Heat/AC. This made for one very warm night with a hot 4 month baby. I had to explain to staff, "if someone is cold, they can put on socks, shirt, or an extra blanket, but if I'm hot, I take clothes off and then there are no other options but to lay there sweating." The issue was resolved for the remainder of the stay but that one night was rough.
Area around the hotel isn't clean, lots of litter, vehicle exhaust, pedestrian traffic. We walked a few blocks in each direction but spent our time in Puerto Madero, Recoleta, Tigre, and San Antonio.
Would I stay there again? I would consider it because staff was great and hotel common areas were beautiful.
