My partner and I were so excited for our stay, when at 9.00am the day before I received an email stating that there had been an issue with my card. I confirmed that everything was ok on my end, emailed and messaged the hotel through the booking platform to ask if they could confirm what the problem was, both within 30 minutes of the initial email. I did not receive a response, and within 5 minutes of my email they had cancelled our booking, leaving us with nowhere to stay. There was no option to rebook, as during this time the venue had 'sold out' for the night in question. There has been no response to any of my queries, none of our calls were answered, none of our emails or messages acknowledged. Already travelling within Hungary, and with less than 23 hours before we were due to stay, we were left scrambling to find accommodation. I can't in good faith recommend this venue, even when it had been booked far in advance through a trusted platform we still ended up losing a day of our trip trying to salvage the sorry situation we were left in by this venue.
