We stayed here overnight with other family members after spending the day at Belton House. Everything was spot on,from the rooms to spending the evening by the log fire after eating in the restaurant ( All the food was exceptional) . Don't plan on having lunch if you have the full breakfast 😁...all in a great place to stopover.

Stayed at the Tollemache Arms for a wedding locally. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful, allowing us to check in a bit early so that we could get changed and helping us to sort out things we'd forgotten. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We only had breakfast in the pub itself but that was excellent and set us up for the trip back home the next day.

We stayed in this pub with family for one night, I didn’t realise faulty towers still existed. We were locked out by 11pm , bedside lamps didn’t have any lightbulbs. A new shower but didn’t work apparently you have to search the bedroom for a switch to turn it on. According to management we got the rooms for a good rate! Also our bed was on the slant like we were on a hill going down wards . We had a good laugh between us!

absolutely terrible! passing through the village with a few family members we decided to have a few drinks to break up the journey, we could hear the land lady discussing other members off staff in an unpleasant manner, the land lady was very rude and we personally didn’t feel like we had a warm welcome from her, however the other staff members were absolutely brilliant we couldn’t fault them at all. the san miguel tasted very weak and had an off taste to it. would not recommend going here for a pitstop!
