Grand Hotel Continental is a great hotel in Bucharest. Rooms/beds were extremely comfortable; the restaurant/breakfast was very good; in house spa was great (Thai massage was incredibly refreshing); convenient location (easy walk to Old Town); and superb service (special shout out to Mihai at the front desk). Beautiful inside and outside. Thanks again so much for the great stay.

I stayed at Marshal Garden hotel for a 2-day business trip. The overall experience was pretty positive, the room was clean and modern, ambient lighting was pretty nice, bathroom was functional and WiFi performance was very good. I also liked breakfast, the selection of products was pretty decent and taste/freshness were good, too! It's also worth noting that breakfast is served on the 6th floor, allowing for nice panoramic views. The hotel itself is located in a pretty busy area and most landmarks are a few minutes away by taxi. I did choose to walk from the Bucharest North train station to the hotel and it took me roughly 25 minutes. On the downside, I was expecting that partially used shampoo and shower gel would be replenished, but it did not happen. I also noticed that housekeeping left my half empty coffee mug. For a hotel of its category, I would expect housekeeping to do a more meticulous job, but still this did not take anything away from the positive experience. Reception staff was very polite and helpful.

Marriott upper-scale properties, such as their Autograph Collection &/or Tribute Portfolio brands, continue to miss the mark. Weak management seems to plague many of these properties & consistent delivery of Marriott's Bonvoy Program only exists in the minds of HQ Executives. The experience of Bonvoy Members is something quite different in reality, since members NEVER know what to expect until they check in. Just finished 12 nights in 6 different European Marriott brands in 3 countries & only 1 even bothered to acknowledge our lifetime elite membership status. Otherwise, we received the same treatment as a guest staying at a Marriott property for the 1st time. The Marmorosch is indeed a beautiful property -- or at least the exterior & lobby area are. The rooms themselves are more more like Fairfield Inn properties in the US. Basic to the extreme & poor housekeeping was evident throughout the property. Trash that littered the floor on arrival was still there 3 days later, as were the blood droplets on the bathroom floor, & one has to question what type of housekeeping would leave a bed in the condition of the one in the attached photos? Only 1 side of the huge hand-pull drapes worked & could be opened, so we called to ask that someone be sent to fix the other side. A pleasant gentleman promptly appeared to tell us that they could not fix the drapes because a separate company had to be scheduled to do the repair. We subsequently learned from an honest employee that the non-functioning drapes issue has plagued the property since opening & is well known to owner/management. The property was previously a bank so there is a bar in the lower level Vault area, which one would incorrectly assume to be a beautiful & sophisticated location for cocktails. Unfortunately, as you descend the stairs to the lower level the loud & pulsating disco music immediately lets you know that your expectations are incorrect. We looked in the door & decided to not even bother entering & returned to the beautiful Lobby for drinks, but left after 15 minutes when no one arrived at the bar to offer service, & others who were waiting when we arrived were still unserved when we departed. Breakfast was a manic mess since the room where it is served is not capable of meeting guest needs if the hotel is more than 75% occupied. Many of the food items that should be hot are cold & unappetizing. Never saw a breakfast menu on a table in the first 2 days of our stay, & only after asking about cooked-to-order items that were being served around us on the 3rd day, were we given a menu with several options that are, in fact, available for breakfast. Check-in was the biggest fiasco we have ever encountered at ANY Marriott property. A full 50 minutes to check-in with only 2 employees manning the 4-5 positions & the Bonvoy Member sign on the front desk was completely meaningless. 這家洲際值得推薦,位置極佳,可以步行每個老城的景點,週六日門前就是步行街,熱鬧非凡,,暢遊酒吧街,餐飲街,觀賞各種街頭演繹,酒店的員工每個人都非常優秀,從到前台的那一刻,一個來自Alexia的甜甜笑容,像涼爽的清風,立刻驅散了旅途的疲頓,安排的房間倍加温馨,金鑰匙簡直就是真人版google,百問即答,餐廳的出品豐富美味,服務完美,入住期間很巧是我太太的生日,酒店送來了美酒,甜品及祝福,在此感謝他們的付出給予我們一段美好的記憶!
