Hotel fuori dal centro storico. Un hotel classificato come 4 stelle non può lasciarti le stesse tovaglie per 4 giorni in più le tovaglie cadute atterra le hanno rialzate e rimesse appese una cosa scandalosa. Dicono di avere una vasca jacuzzi in terrazza si è vero c’è ma non funzionante. L aria calda non funziona ed il frigobar i primi 2 giorni non ha funzionato me lo hanno cambiato al terzo giorno. Nota positiva il letto king super comodo 10 stelle.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sarroglia hotel. We stayed in room 43, just a few steps from the roof terrace and hot tub. It is modern, clean and generous on space. The clear glass wall of the shower is weird; I wouldn’t stay there with anyone but my husband as you have zero privacy when showering or using the toilet. Breakfast was good, buffet-style, help yourself. A small selection of items from pastries, coffee, bread, yoghurts, ham, cheese, eggs…they will make you an omelette on request. Nice people working down in the breakfast area and on reception. The safe didn’t work, trapped our passports inside but the housekeeping lady was able to release it and we just hid our passports elsewhere. TV only had one channel in English (news) so we didn’t watch TV, but that is replicated all over Europe. Hairdryer, lots of toiletries daily and a coffee pod for the machine daily. This balcony gets the sun in the morning, so you may need to use a chair to trap the curtain right into the corners to keep the light out, although it still creeps under the curtains. The staff just completely leave you to it, they don’t try to micro-manage your stay which I really liked. One tip for travellers is that Apple Maps doesn’t show any bus or tram info, but Google maps does. We liked our stay and I would return.

Cozy, comfortable, modern hotel in a nice neighborhood location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and excellent Italian restaurant. Wonderful bed and shower. Quibbles: 1) the room was dark and needed either a ceiling light or more lamps; 2) the room could have used an easy chair in addition to the desk chair; 3) there was no Kleenex box. But these are quibbles: I stay here whenever I come to Bucharest.

We had a great 4 nights in this hotel. Staff were excellent, hotel was hreat amd room was very clean and comfortable. It was within 15 minute walk to university square. Sotuated in a bit of a run down part of town but dont let that put you off. Felt very safe walking to an from centre even at night. Wonderful hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We went for a 4 day stay. The hotel was wonderful. Clean, friendly, spacious and just 15 mins walk from the Old Town. Would definitely recommend staying there! They made our stay very special and the rooftop jacuzzi was lovely!

Easy check in. We booked a standard twin room which was very good for what we needed. The room was large with a fabulous bathroom, the shower was great , there was also a bidet. Toiletries are provided and replenished, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and shower cap. There were also bathrobes and slippers in the room. There is a mini bar and plenty of electrical sockets. We weren’t able to operate the safe but this didn’t spoil our stay. Breakfast was okay and you can get fruit, cereals, scrambled eggs etc, it is served in the basement. There was a fitness room which we didn’t use. On the fourth floor there is a rooftop sun terrace which contains a hot tub and sun loungers. The hotel is very clean and there are areas to charge your phone in reception. The hotel is about 15/20 minutes walk to the old town. You can also get a bolt which we found was affordable. We caught the 783 bus from the airport to the hotel for 52p!! They are very regular and it takes under an hour to get to the hotel. You can pay with contactless Mastercard or visa on the bus so no need to try and find out how to buy a ticket. A special thank you to Roberta at reception who was very helpful with a friendly attitude. The rest of the reception staff were not too friendly and some didn’t even smile to greet guests. Overall a great hotel.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Sarroglia. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower was excellent. There is a very nice terrace on the top floor where you can sit out and relax. The buffet breakfast is a little limited, and there is no longer a bar in operation. Reception staff are pleasant, although a request to resolve a minor issue with the room safe was not acted upon. The hotel is a little way out of the city centre, but we would be pleased to stay there again.
