On our way home after a fantastic stay at this gem of a B&B. Pieter&his wife were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Cote D'Jardin bedroom overlooking the cute courtyard garden. The bedroom was super clean with an extremely comfortable bed: the best night's sleep as the B&B is on a quiet road and room is very relaxing. The continental breakfast was delicious; especially the salmon and mozzarella, pastries&the coffee was superb. Lovely added touch of slippers&a towelling robe in the bathroom which had a lovely hot shower. The B&B is in a great location for all the main sights in this beautiful city. Highly recommend a canal boat trip and the Historium VR, self guided tour and Tower. Amazing stay, thank you Pieter, family and Tinkar the cat!

A delightful small B&B. Within the old town area but just outside the super-busy tourist streets. Several good restaurants and breweries within an easy walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean with views over the gardens. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental style with choices of breads, croissants, small goods, jams etc all served at the table and more than enough in quantity. Hard to fault this place. Only issue might be if you have mobility problems, the stairs are very steep (European style) and the shower requires a step over at the narrow end of the bath tub. A free shuttle bus is available 200m away and goes to the town centre and train station several times each hour.

I recently had a terrible experience with the owner of the property (booked through ***********). Four days before my trip I got sick with covid and I had to reschedule all my travel plans. At that point the free refund period was over so we immediately called the property try to reschedule our stay. Unfortunately we had to deal with an extremely rude and unprofessional guy who suggested that we just cancel our booking without a refund so that he can benefit from the situation to earn more by booking it again. I was shocked by this cynical reply and his non-existent sympathy towards my sudden sickness and ruined holidays. I tried to discuss some alternatives but he permitted no other discussion and hung up, supposedely being too busy to speak with with me. My next steps were to contact Booking and try to resolve the matter through their agents. Some of them were extremely helpful and tried to call the guy multiple times to no avail as he never picked up the phone again. Booking asked me to get an official covid test and certificate which I did and paid for, suggesting that the document will help my case. Unfortunately even this didn't work as all further calls, emails and direct messages to the property were ignored and went unanswered. To sum up, I am extremely sad and disappointed to be treated with such contempt as a traveler, tourist and human being. Properties that endorse this kind of stubborn, cynical and rude behavior should not exist in this time and age. Accommodation is not all about the cosy atmosphere, comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. The human factor does (and should) play a huge role in the whole experience. I hope that this very negative experience will make others choose a different place to spend their holidays and make the owners of the property review their practices and put an effort to listen to and support their customers.

Stayed with Pieter for 3 nights st the beginning of September. Brugge itself is beautiful snd staying at the Next Door only adds to the experience. We took the Master Suite which had its own deluxe bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy and fresh breads every morning. Peter and Alicia are fantastic hosts and ensured we had a great stay. The property is an easy 20 minute walk with luggage along a riverside path and a 10 minute walk into the centre of Brugge. Dont go past this accommodation for a short stay in Brugge. You won't be dissppointed.

B&B davvero carico a pochi minuti a piedi dal cuore di Bruges in una vietta a senso unico con poco traffico. Molto curate le camere e con arredamenti non banali, bagni molto ampi e con vasca e doccia. Molto ricca e qualità la colazione in una saletta stile liberty davvero calda ed accogliente. C'è anche una piccola tea room dove sono disponibili tè e caffè gratis tutto il giorno. Molto simpatici e disponibili i proprietari (Alesia parla anche italiano) e pronti a soddisfare tutte le richieste. Altro elemento a suo vantaggio la fermata dell'autobus a pochi metri dalla porta di ingresso. Insomma meglio di così..
