Polite friendly staff Beautiful food Clean bedding and towels,, A little dated but clean fixings

Came down for a family gathering, roebuck was reasonably priced , clean and staff friendly and helpful, could do with a refurb as it looked tired in places but for what we needed it was ok.

The staff have all been amazingly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again

I had a good overnight stay. It was convenient and the staff were helpful.

It was so dirty and dark we did not stay. The mattress and sheet were badly stained the carpet was filthy and the bathroom facilities old and cracked. We refused to stay in that room. The second room was no better it only had one small wall light working was dirty and had a huge plant trying to get in the window so there wasno fresh air in 30 degree heat. The room was so dark we had to use the torch on our phone to see. We asked to book breakfast for both mornings of our stay but we’re told we could only book for the first day, they were not sure if it would be available on the second morning, We advised the management we would not be staying and wanted a refund due to the awful conditions. We were told they would see what had to be done.

Our one night visit was very comfortable and the welcome was superb from all reception staff

The staff were very friendly and accepted our Amex cards, which is usually quite rare in smaller independent inns/ hotels. The food and service were very good and reasonably priced and I had a good night's sleep despite the busy road adjacent, which eventually quietened down around 10:30.
