Peaceful van Park on the eastern end of town with ok facilities. Stayed in a basic cabin which was equipped with master bed, electric stove top, air con and ensuite bathroom. Car space next to doorway. Late arrivals can collect key in envelope left next to reception. Quite good overall, but stovetop takes a while to heat if boiling or frying. $90 tariff makes the Outback caravan park a value option in Broken Hill

Im Osten der Stadt Broken Hill fanden wir diesen Campingplatz, der vor einiger Zeit neue Besitzer bekommen hatte. Diese planten eine Umgestaltung einiger Bereiche, was zu teilweise seltsamen Numerierungen führte. Offensichtlich werden die Parzellen größer; bei uns waren die Nummern 97 und 98 zusammengelegt. Der am Rande des Outbacks gelegene Platz war ausgesprochen ruhig; die sanitären Anlagen sauber und das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Wir konnten einen schönen Abend in der frischen Luft geniessen und einen traumhaften Sonnenaufgang erleben.

Just stayed three nights ,. The park has unpowered and powered sites for a reasonable price,clean amenities with hot showers,close to town, friendly and helpful staff . It is easy to find just off the Barrier Highway . The kitchen is well equipped and spacious.

We are travelling from Perth to Birdsville. Booked here for one night but loved the place so much stayed for 3. Pre arrival, multiple messages of treating and guidance received prior to arrival. Found these very helpful. Location: on the eastern end of town, was very quiet. Staff, friendly and helpful. Facilities, clean and well maintained. Sites, huge. We have a long van requested a drive through which was large and well grassed. Security, most parks have some issues. We had none but put items away each day or when we were leaving the park for the day. I would recommend the park for those seeking a quieter experience.

Outback view Holiday Park was an unexpected surprise. We chose an unpowered camp site and it was great to be able to sit by our open fire and watch the sun set on the outback! I think it is slightly overpriced compared to other non-powered camping sites. Facilities were very good.

Has awesome views both of the town and the outback. Nice and quiet. Lots of space to park your van and plenty of camping spaces. Plenty of toilets and showers. Lovely staff and very helpful. Has a lookout close by. Just on the fringe of town but not too far.

Excellent Park, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean amenities block. Fantastic camp kitchen catering for everyone’s needs. Within a short driving distance to the town centre and all the tourist attractions Would definitely recommend

Excellent caravan park with huge sites available - accommodated us very well - motor home towing car & trailer. Shower block & toilets very clean, camp kitchen very well equipt, although we didn’t have kids with us there was a kids playground & swimming pool area to enjoy also. Staff were lovely & very knowledgeable of the area. We booked for 3 night & ended up staying for 6. There was so much to do & see.

Great place to stay , visited here about 5 years ago with our camper and 2 dogs, was great , came back this time on our own , so friendly and nice amenities, recommend to every one as a stepping point to head further out in this great outback , great tourust and art places here
