The staff were mostly extremely helpful. Not realising we had a budget room, I asked an older receptionist for extra towels as our shower had no screen or curtain. It was impossible to shower without the bathroom flooding. I have never been spoken to so rudely. It spoiled our 3 day stay. Cleaning staff were fantastic.

We spent five enjoyable night here and the staff were friendly and accommodating with excellent housekeeping. . It is not a modern motel but our executive room was stylish and spacious with plenty of storage space so we could unpack most of our stuff rather than live out of the suitcase. There was also a dedicated work space and dining table and sofa. Our only grumbles were the sofa was too worn soft for us to use to be comfortable Also the hot water was so hot when it came through we had to be really careful controlling the temperature to avoid to being scalded in the shower.

We booked the 2 brm family suite and I have to say, it was not in our top 10. Little things spoiled our stay. Power points in brm 2 were on the opposite wall from the bed heads and there were no bedside tables or lamps which made it difficult to traverse in the night to the bathroom, charge mobile phones, ipads, etc. These are necessary in 2024. To enter the suite, 3 doors open up on each other, therefore to enter, you have to then close that door to open the cupboard/beverage making bar and then you have to close that door in order to open the bathroom. Once you get into the bathroom, there is no shower door - no curtain, no nothing. Consequently, the bathroom floor is awash!!
