Very clean and tidy room. Great location. Close to all the pubs and restaurants and to Line of Tode. Definitely recommend.

The motel was centrally located in the main street. The facilities were clean and tidy. There was no under cover parking at each unit.

I'd have given the Argent 5 stars if I hadn't stayed my first two nights in a v. ordinary room (#1) where I was kept awake by loud tapping and rustling noises from inside the room in the wee hours. BUT the lady manager was wonderful, and arranged a new room for me within minutes. So nights 3 & 4 were spent in a much nicer, less creepy and better kept room. Wonderful! Apart from the odd noises in room one, the motel as a whole was quiet enough with a comfortable bed and pillows plus tea & coffee (and biscuits and water!) in both rooms. The motel is brilliantly situated an easy walk from the centre of town, coach stop and visitor's centre. With the exception of one particular room I'll definitely be staying at the Argent again.

The main draw card of this motel is that it is only a 30 second walk to the shops and cafes. It is very quiet with big car park with an easy check in and out. Ideal for backpackers. Areas to improve on: no onsite reception, the rooms are very dated and need a big spring clean. No ports for to charge your mobile so byo all your gadgets and cords.

Excellent venue located within walking distance of clubs, shopping and food venues. Excellent parking and very friendly manager. Excellent facilities, very quiet and very clean. Great value for money in our opinion. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This hotel is stunningly good value: superb location, lovely staff, friendly and efficient, remarkably spacious, well appointed, clean rooms, even good views. My one caveat is that the Wifi in my room did not work whenever there was a ute parked between my room and the router, which was most nights. So, if you do not care about Wifi or are happy to sit outside to use it, this is fabulous; but if Wifi in your room is important to you, I would still consider it for its excellent value but I would also consider alternatives.
