The owner is very nice …location is quiet…

Nous sommes venus ce 1er juin au château à l'occasion de mes 30 ans. La découverte du lieu a été une surprise pour moi, et j'ai passé une journée vraiment parfaite. Tout d'abord nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par notre hôte, qui nous a donné plein d'informations sur le domaine. Les plats étaient délicieux, notre hôte a tout cuisiné elle-même, et était aux petits soins. Nous avons ensuite eu la possibilité de passer du temps sur la terrasse du château avec mes proches, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir un très beau cadre pour passer un moment inoubliable ensemble. En plus d'être très beau, le château offre un accueil humain et intimiste, et cette expérience m'a fait chaud au cœur. Merci infiniment à toute l'équipe, je recommande leur service mille fois !

Disappointed. I had high hopes but this place fell short of everything but the exterior. The welcome was awkward, and nobody offered to assist us with our suitcases. The room was large, but was also filled with bugs along the walls (see photo.!!) The person working there would not accommodate us for a 7am breakfast (kind of ridiculous, even though I paid for it in advance.) The stay was just not warm/welcome. I don’t recommend staying overnight, maybe just a day time visit.

Lieu historique magnifique avec un accueil chaleureux. Visite commentée du château très intéressante! Chambre splendide. On souhaite y revenir en famille! Superbe projet d’hôtel avec des environs magnifiques. Découverte d’Annecy au passage

We spent a good time here in the castle of Thorens. We had the chance to visit the place and had more information about the history of the castle. We highly recommend the place and we thank all the staff for their kindness. Thank you to Prisca and Annie for their precious time.
