Travelling for 7-days bike event Haute Route Alps. The hotel had mixed up the dates for our early start for our bike Route Briançon - Cuneo. ”Not our problem that you can't have breakfast at 07.30”. It was impossible to get the breakfast earlier, despite the tour organisation having ordered the breakfast for 05.30. Only due yo the receptionist ”not wanting to get up early”. I hope he will lose his job and never work in hospitability business again.

Stayed with a group of friends whilst skiing for the week. Dont believe all the negativity on here. Yes the rooms are small, the pillows not great and the bar area small. However overall its a great place to stay. Its 5 minutes from the ski lifts, surrounded by lovely coffee shops and bars and is overall very good value for money. The staff are excellent, the food is overall good and the fact the hotel offers unlimited tea/coffee/juice/cakes and a packed lunch for slopes is a real bonus. We'll definitely be back when in serre chevalier !

Found Hotel Mont-Brison while looking a place to stop during a road trip, and it positively surprised us despite having already good reviews. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but on the other hand it looked to have been renovated recently and everything was clean and tidy. Bathroom was another positive surprise, and especially as the shower was great, good water pressure and didn't have to wait for hot water. Bed was comfortable as well and gave a good nights sleep. View from the balcony was great, watching towards the mountains over the town. Only minor complaint would be on the staff being a bit pushy and giving an intrusive look of themselves. When arriving to the parking, we got pounced immediately before getting of the bike. Same happened on the same evening when getting some left behind items from the bike.
