-Zimmerpreise wie bei einem 4Sterne-Hotel -Service wie bei einem 2Sterne-Hotel kein Kühlschrank, kein Safe, 6 Lichtschalter...aber ohne Funktion, Badetür klemmt, Duschvorhang schließt nicht...somit steht das Bad beim duschen unter Wasser, kein Klodeckel -Hotel und Restaurant gehören nicht zusammen(!)

Ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel in der Region Kaiserstuhl. Es existieren ausreichende Parkplätze, auch überdacht. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Küche ist herausragend in der Qualität, die Weinauswahl passend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

In the past years we stayed a few times in this hotel. This year it was very disappointing. Breakfast was very poor at a high price. In the past it had been a really excellent breakfast but this time it was ashaming how breakfast was. The offers not even reached half the price which was charged. Even marmelade was not labeled, which is only a small thing. Sausage offer was extreemly poor and not worth on such a high rated hotel. In our room - it was clean - but the curtain was not fixed it was damaged and hang partially down. This never happened in the past. A hotel which was rated at such a high level as the show on reception shoud have fixed this when service enters daily a room. The rating must be sized down to a much lower level.

The place itself is very nice. Rooms are nicely renovated and the location is in an idyllic surrounding. It started with the check in. We requested an upgrade. Already here we were given a higher price than initially indicated. We were shown a nice and large room (208) and had to wait till it’s ready. However, we were given a much smaller room (207). We actually didn’t have the energy to argue. Towards the evening, we noticed some symptoms with my wife and decided to do the COVID test. In all transparency, I called the manager and explained the situation. She was extremely rude!! She almost threatened to throw us out. She refused to send us food to the room. She indicated, that she will charge us with extra cost. All this was even before we got the results!! I did not even hear a word of curtesy or hope for a negative result or wish recovery (also after the positive result). We checked out after one night. We had a reservation (not pre-paid) for 3 nights. She insisted on charging us for the 3 nights in full. I had other worries than to argue. We paid and left under extreme psychological pressure. Upon my return and checking our reservation form, we were entitled to 80% only. Very traumatizing experience!

Schade um das schöne Hotel. Wir hatten die Junior Suite gebucht zu einem fairen Preis, ein tolles Zimmer über den Dächern von Ihringen. Beim Bezug am Dienstag des Zimmers mussten wir leider feststellen dass es nicht gereinigt war. Nach Rücksprache mit der Dame an der Rezeption wurde nachgereinigt, jedoch nur oberflächlich. Das Zimmer wurde dann erst wieder am Freitag !!! gereinigt. Reinigungsintervall wäre nur alle zwei Tage, wurde uns beim einchecken nicht mitgeteilt. Ob das eines 4**** Hauses würdig ist ? da nützt auch die Urkunde an der Rezeption nichts. Schade eigentlich, Essen sehr gut, gutes Frühstück Buffet ,wenn auch das Personal manchmal überfordert schien. Gute Lage zum Bahnhof und gute Parkplätze. Würden wir nochmals buchen ?
