Best resort and best customer service I have ever experienced in my whole life. Can’t stop loving this hotel and the vibes it gives. Can’t stop recommending enough.

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES Thanks once again for serving is the best treat Keep it up 💕🙏😍

The property and location are great. It is well maintained and aesthetic. The tree house was a lovely and unique experience. However, there were guests walking around the cottage area to click pictures and look around the tree house, which should have been restricted strictly to maintain the privacy of the stay. Also, at night, we heard an animal scrape the flooring of our tree house. It was slightly disturbing to us but if you are cool with the complete nature experience, then it shouldnt be a problem. Also, we had to call the reception 2-3 times to ask for water in the washroom, but they swiftly turned on the motor. Also, geyser wasn't working

It was nice and exotic location. Good room and site. Approach road is very bad shape. Hotel staff need to trained for skill level up to a star rated resort. No cafeteria, and lack of buffet is shortcomings though we can understand due to less occupancy. Hotel need more guest friendly approach while less occupancy. Other facilities are good. But not in proper maintenance. Good location and exotic sight seeing.
