Des personnes très accueillantes et sympathiques. Cependant, on note un manque d’hygiène alarmant : les sols collent de l’entrée aux chambres, en passant par le restaurant… et petit plus : de la moisissure dans la chambre.

Dropped in for lunch on a Sunday, and the 4 of us had a great meal - burgers all round delivered exactly what we were after, with a nice pint to wash it down. Very friendly bar staff, food arrived quickly, and the whole place seemed spotless. Nice family atmosphere too.

Stayed here in May 2024 , we stayed for three days with our 10 month old cockerpoo Bailey who was truly spoiled by all the staff .We found the staff hardworking and very friendly. The bedrooms were warm cosy and comfortable what else do you need! The hotel is very close to all the shops and restaurants in St Davids, We had breakfast every morning in the hotel every morning the staff welcomed us and were very helpful

I love everything about this place. The rooms are always comfortable and quiet, staff are really friendly and there’s always a really lovely atmosphere. Very convenient for walks into St David’s, dinner in the evening and a couple drinks to end the day

Firstly the staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. The bar, seating area and restaurant looked well kept. Shame I can’t say the same about the rooms. A friend and myself stayed for two nights and were shocked when we saw the rooms. They were grubby and tired and in much need of a complete overhaul. For the price charged over one hundred pounds per night, no breakfast included it was overpriced. I’ve stayed at nicer, cleaner places for a lot less. To me there was a general lack of housekeeping. The shower hadn’t seen a clean in a long while. The only thing that did seem clean was the sheets. There was no head board and the wall reflected the amount of people that had used it to lean their heads against. I always just tidy my bed before going out when I stay at hotels but I was shocked to find that when I came back to my room it was still unmade. I have never stayed in a ‘hotel’ where the bed doesn’t get remade by staff. The furniture was old and carpets were stained as was the dressing table stool. We chose to have breakfast on our second morning before leaving and what can I say? I had scrambled egg on toast….well if you can call it toast. It looked like the cheapest thin cut bread you could buy and if the person cooking the breakfast thought that the bread had been toasted then they shouldn’t be doing the cooking. It was totally inedible so for one cup of coffee and two eggs scrambled it cost nearly eight pounds. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay there again.

Welcoming & friendly check-in, clean & very comfortable room, delicious meal ( large portion), walkable to village & cathedral . Hope to visit again.

Great value for money. Large room, new shower and tv. Excellent location, and the staff were amazing.

The two members of staff were friendly and welcoming. The large room was cold but we were provided with an additional heater. A coat of paint on skirting and window ledges in bathroom would enhance the room.

My family and I spent the evening at the Grove celebrating my mothers 80th birthday, and what an amazing service we received at the Grove. The buffet was amazing and outstanding quality and plenty on offer for everyone. The staff and the manager Derek were so helpful, welcoming and kind to our whole family and particularly to my mother who thoroughly enjoyed herself. Thank you.
