The hotel was in a fantastic location for the golf course, making it a convenient choice for our stay. Both the room and the main entrance area were in excellent condition, offering a welcoming and well-maintained atmosphere. The dining experience, while on the pricier side with a somewhat limited menu, featured high-quality food and good service. Breakfast was included in the stay and was of a good standard, with particularly friendly staff. While the overall experience was positive, the price felt a bit steep for a one-night bed and breakfast stay. We didn’t use any additional facilities, as our visit was solely for proximity to the golf course.

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights. Room was very clean and all staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The views across Saunton Sands are truly amazing and we could sit outside for the whole day just looking at the view. Instead of that we did two quite long walks from the Hotel which we really enjoyed. Food was absolutely superb, we had two dinners, an afternoon tea and breakfast and could not fault these. I would recommend a stay here at this oasis of calm to unwind and recharge your batteries!

We have visited Saunton sands hotel a number of times before. We love the location looking over Saunton beach. The hotel has made some great improvements recently with a modern lobby area, excellent dining and overall excellent customer service. Daily newspapers available in the bar/ lounge area is a nice addition when having a relaxing drink in the bar post breakfast or pre dinner.

This should be a 5 star review, although sadly the hotel seems to be let down by the SPA, which always used to be amazing. The spa was overcrowded, the Spa reception was not attended, there was a lack of towels and the sauna/steam/jacuzzi area clearly had not been attended to for some time. Treatments were lacking structure and the product range was low quality… The location, food and general welcome from the hotel ticks the boxes… but the ‘Spa and Wellness’ element really let things down on this occasion…. Lets hope things improve !!

Stayed for 1 night for an early round at Saunton golf club. Plenty of parking, great views, friendly staff. Dinner was very good and the breakfast was fantastic. Room had plenty of space and was very clean. Would highly recommend if needing a stop over for the golf.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Great thermal suite with view over the beach and lovely relaxation terrace.
Food was good and there was a games room too which wasn’t well advertised.

We have just enjoyed a gloriously sunny 3 night stay at this wonderful hotel.We visited a few years ago but since then the hotel, pools and spa have had a revamp and are now very plush ,modern and clean. We ate twice in the hotel and had great food and excellent service.The staff were polite and helpful. We visited theRosemoor gardens which were well worth a visit andBaggy Point which was great . Overall excellent value for money and can certainly recommend. Thank you to all the hard working staff.
