Clean and comfortable with great kitchenette facilities in room. Shame we were staying in ugly weather because the location and access to beach was great. Older building but well maintained. Short drive to town centre and shops. Over all I’d recommend for anyone seeking a beach side holiday. View from our room would have been great in better weather. We were grateful to be dry and comfortable!

Beautiful spot with fantastic views from the balcony over the bay. Beautiful sunset. Extra bonuses - cat to pat at reception, ice ready to go in freezer, glasses in fridge cooled for drinks, fast and efficient check in and out by Janet - thank you so much, we will be back.

Excellent property on a fantastic location, next to the beach. The hotel manager was very pleasant and polite and offered advice about local sites and dining options.
I was welcomed by a gorgeous grey cat at reception, that topped off my visit. Great place, I highly recommend it.

Don’t know how the outside mat is very wet and stinks, every time I try to go inside just makes the room worse. The lady at reception is not really friendly.

We stay at Whitsunday Sands every year for Don River Dash and love the ocean front rooms due to their size and access right onto the beach.
