Just 60 minutes northwest of the Metro.We also offer a pontoon rental! Cedar Lake is a 837 acre stunning lake with a sandbar and public beach. Enjoy your time on the water - swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, fishing, floating with a favorite cocktail in hand. You may encounter weeds around the shoreline/dock and on the lake, but water clarity is up to 17 feet, depending on Mother Nature. There are many fun attractions around the area, including the Annandale 4th of July Celebration (parade/carnival/kiddie parade/fireworks/music in the park), Annandale flea market, boutiques, and antiquing. If you bring a boat, you can tie to dock. Other things to noteSome firewood may be available, but please bring your own in case it’s low. Pet fee $100 per stay (up to 2 pets). Pet fee will go up to $200 for any unannounced pet at the property. No cats allowed. Pets must be leashed when outside. Pets are not allowed on any furniture or bedding/blankets. All pet waste must be picked up before departing. We have a fully functioning washer and dryer for your convenience.We have garbage service available to you, so we kindly ask you empty the garbage when you leave.Please strip used bedding and leave on floor of room.Please clean your dishes and empty the fridge of any leftover food. Our cleaner comes and cleans after each departure. We ask that you care for our cabin as if it’s your own!Safety Devices: 4 security camera’s on the property. Located above the garage (view of the driveway), front door (view of the sidewalk), north side of the cabin (view of the sidewalk), and on the lakeside (view of water). Camera’s will be on during check in and check out and overnight. Digitally recorded, motion detection on at night for security purposes. Many interesting local places to explore- quaint nearby towns with antique and vintage shops. Wonderful local restaurants. Wine tasting in Kimball and a new brewery in Annandale only minutes away. Fall time is beautiful on Lake Sylvia. Very peaceful with lovely reflections in the water from the colorful trees. Cool nights perfect for enjoying campfires under the stars or stay inside -the stone fireplace will keep you warm and cozy. Many fun winter activities - Powder Ridge ski and tubing - great fun for the family. Also nearby parks with cross country ski trails. Snowshoeing and ice fishing right out the door. Christmas time is beautiful with the cottage nestled in the snow decorated with lights and greenery. Feels like your far away from the stresses of life.
