Looking for a unique, quiet & peaceful getaway in the country? Our cozy loft is located upstairs inside our 5500 square foot vintage home decor store on our 80 acre animal rescue/sanctuary in Westville, Indiana. We are just 5 miles from Lake Michigan and less than an hour from Chicago. The loft sleeps two and includes a king size bed, sofa, tv, WiFi, bathroom and small fridge. The main floor has a kitchen with a stove, microwave & fridge. The only entrance to the space is through the store but the space is very secluded and private. You will also have access to our farm and pond we just ask that you do not feed or pet the animals without our supervision. We have horses, goats, 2 ungrateful geese, a pot belly pig named Thelma, a few cats and a dog. We also have an airstream on the property that is used as a rental and we rent our space for events (small weddings, showers, etc). Our newly-constructed vacation home near Sheridan Beach is the perfect place to relax, refresh, and enjoy the best that Michigan City has to offer.This modern townhouse has an open-concept and is beautifully decorated with new furniture & a brand new 7-person hot tub. Easily walk to the beach (8 min) and 2 neighborhood favorites (2 min): Dune Billies Café coffee/breakfast and Cool Running for drinks, jerk chicken & seafood. We have all the essentials: beach towels, umbrella, wagon, Yeti cooler, and much more.We designed the house to be the perfect space for all ages. Bring your friends and family - we'd love to share it with you!The house has two levels: the main floor and an upper level. The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room with farmhouse-style table (handcrafted by the host!) for eight people and a living room with a 65" Smart TV that you can use to enjoy streaming services like Netflix, Hulu etc. There's also a screened-in porch with three comfy sofas that are perfect for morning coffee chats or lounging around after a long day at the beach. There is a washer/dryer if you need to wash clothes or towels during your stay and a half bath just off the main level hallway.
