In addition to bringing your boat you can also enjoy two kayaks and two paddleboards for those who wish to explore the calm morning or evening waters. We do ask that you please sign our Hot Tub Hold Harmless Agreement prior to use.Our home provides three spacious bedrooms with memory foam mattresses (one king sized, one queen sized, and two queen-sized bunk beds) with enough space for all your guests! Each bedroom comes with a 55" Roku TV connected to high-speed internet to allow for easy streaming and ability to unwind after a long day at the lake. The master bedroom located downstairs offers astonishing lake views along with a private bathroom. It also includes a dedicated workspace perfect for those working remotely while enjoying a serene and relaxing environment. Each bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and fresh towels.For those requiring use a washer/dryer with dedicated pods and bounce sheets is available in the basement next to the private master bathroom.The breathtaking long-range views of Lake Norman are made possible by the elevated location of the property. **However, PLEASE note that there are many steps leading down to the dock (67 steps down path 1 or 86 steps down path 2). If you have any accessibility concerns, please take this into consideration.**We kindly ask that you respect the neighbors and keep noise levels down, as this is a quiet residential neighborhood. Code-enforced quiet hours are from 10pm-7am, and a decibel monitor system is in place to help minimize noise complaints. Please avoid parking on the street and keep all vehicles within the driveway. There are 2 paddleboards, life vests, wonder noodles and water lounges as well as some water toys and beach towels available to use during your stay. There are lots a places here to relax and enjoy the lake - my favorite is the recliner on the covered dock! A love seat and chairs on the lower porch for sipping a beverage with friends. A set of lounge chairs on the dock for reading that neglected stack of magazines. The covered dock has a comfortable dining table, perfect for sharing a meal with family while enjoying the sunset. The kitchen, family room and full bath are located on the lower level. The kitchen is fully appointed with dishes, utensils, cookware and small appliances including a blender, coffee maker, toaster and crock pot. There are also some cooking basics such as common spices, flour, sugar, oil and coffee. A 36" Blackstone griddle is located on the downstairs patio, close to the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms in the home, all are located upstairs as well as the living room, washer/dryer, kitchenette coffee bar and half bath. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and wardrobe closet with drawers. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and features an lighted umbrella art installation on the ceiling. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 2 Twin XL bed, blackout blinds and a pocket door. Crib and highchair provided. Guests may use the floats, water hammocks, large floating water mat, stand-up paddle board, pool noodles, life jackets of all sizes and assortment of kayaks. Gather up your group, slip on life jackets and take a kayak trip to a nearby island or paddle around our cove alongside ducks, turtles and osprey nests. Back in the boathouse you'll also find 4 bikes to ride around the neighborhood, sports balls (there's a basketball hoop in the driveway), small exercise equipment, yard games, a 2nd full-sized fridge, and outdoor cushions.The arguably best spot at his lake retreat is at the overwater gazebo. Easily accessible from the house without stairs, using the deck ramp, stroll down a gently sloping sidewalk and splinter-free pier. We call this barefoot luxury! Everyone loves the gazebo's bathing suit-friendly, deep-seating lounge on a firm foundation (no waves) with much-needed shade, breezy fan, mini-fridge, and hands-down best 360° water views. The gazebo is the most comfortable spot to be near those in the lake without getting wet. On a quiet day you'll see fish jump, a heron swoop & screech, osprey dive for fish and geese, ducks and turtles swim by. On a busier lake day, it's super entertaining to watch other boaters pulling tubers, water skiers, and wake boarders doing tricks.From May-Oct many would argue that being in the lake is where it’s at! This home's prime location on a big cove is actually where many boats from all over the lake come to drop anchor and jump in, because there aren't the treacherous waves like on the main channel. The water around the dock is deep (15'+). You can swim or tread water, but most prefer sitting in a float, laying on the large water mat, holding a pool noodle or floating with a life jacket. There’s even shade to be found in the water if you position yourself near the gazebo.If you have a boat, you can tie it up to the dock and have it ready to go anytime during your stay. If you have a jet ski, the floating jet ski dock is for you. Sunbathe on the dock, hang your feet in, jump in the deep water, climb up either ladder, swim out to our floating platform, or over to the ramp, take out a kayak or the stand up paddle board, fish and have loads of fun in the lake. When you need a break, rest and have lunch or snacks in the overwater gazebo, until the lake calls you back again. Pop everything in the boat house overnight, close the doors and start over the next day.When it's time to get off the lake, this home has a lovely grass yard with tire swing and several pleasantly shaded lakeside seating areas: 4 chaise lounges on the patio, a hammock hung between 2 big trees, swinging egg & mod chairs nearby, teak steamer chairs on the deck, and many built-in benches.As dinnertime approaches, fire up the gas grill or whip up your favorites in the kitchen. If you need something, it's nice that the Publix grocery is only 2 mi away. Don't feel like cooking? Grab take-out or order in. Feel like going out?
