Fully remodeled historic stone cottage on beautiful Smith Lake in Minnesota's Northwoods. Two fire pits, log swing and a full deck (built around a huge pine) lead to a stone and wood staircase down to the dock. Guests are welcome to use the small fishing boat and kayak on the property, and sunbathe on the floating island during summer months, or icefish in winter. Snowmobile trails are less than half a mile away. Suomi Hills trailhead is just down the road, Scenic State Park and the stunning Chippewa National Forest are close by and accessible for exploring.
