This lovely 2 story condo has a spectacular view of the beautiful high mountain Lake San Cristobal. The space is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath getaway that sleeps 10 and is perfect for families or friends wanting a high mountain retreat from the heat! Each of the 2 lower-level bedrooms has a queen and a full size bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Both bathrooms are on the lower level. The beautiful custom-made furniture throughout the space adds a cabin like atmosphere to the condo. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and equipped for all the comforts of home. Home cooked meals are a breeze here. A propane grill is also provided. From the covered deck you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the San Juan Mountains that surround Lake San Cristobal. Slumgullion Creek runs right in front of your condo allowing you to enjoy the soothing sound of running water right from your porch or at the fire pit by the river. This condo is on the Alpine Loop making it a great place to stay if you are bringing your OHVs and planning some exciting off-road trips during your stay. You can ride out onto Cinnamon Pass directly from the condo without having to trailer your OHV to a staging area. There is ample parking for your trailers in a specified area with regular vehicle parked in front of the building. The condo is 4 miles from the remote historic mountain town of Lake City where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, parks, mini golf, a movie theater and museum. This condo is nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains and 100 yards from public access to Lake San Cristobal, Colorado's second largest natural body of water. Lake San Cristobal and the surrounding streams make this location a fisherman's paradise. You can ride out onto the Alpine Loop directly from the condo without having to trailer your OHV or ATV to a staging area. There is plenty of room to park your trailer nearby as well. You can explore the Alpine Loop and many other ATV/Jeep, biking and hiking tails the area has to offer. Along these trails you will discover many ghost towns and the rich mining history of the area. This is the perfect location for 4-wheel enthusiasts, hikers, bikers, fishermen, hunters, horseback riders, climbers, wild life and birdwatchers, nature lovers and history buffs.This 2 bed 2 bath condominium features a queen bed in each room as well as a twin bunk bed in 1 of the rooms. The open concept living room has a full sized couch, love seat, dining table and seating nook adjoins the kitchen. Do you cook? We do and our kitchen has most of the gadgets, tools and utensils you would need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot, electric skillet, George Foreman grill and griddle. The kitchen bar seats 5 so you can spread out and eat after a long day fishing or on the trail. The completely furnished kitchen includes pots, pans, standard small appliances and table service to make you feel at home away from home. All bed and bath linens are provided, so just bring your groceries and personal care items, such as bath soap and shampoo, to complete your stay.Beds are wonderfully comfy. The master bedroom with a king size bed is upstairs in one side of the open loft area with a seating area and queen sofa sleeper in the other. Downstairs is two separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double and twin bunkbed. The living room also offers a queen sofa sleeper to give our guests as many options as they may need. Each bedroom offers a smart TV as does the living room. Just sign into your personal account to access any streaming apps to which you are subscribed.Wildlife is abundant and you will most likely see deer in the yard routinely. You may also see elk and even bear on the property from time to time. The town of Lake City offers many fun shops, restaurants, museums and even a park for the littles.
