Sooke is known for excellent salmon and halibut fishing and whale watching. Kayaks and canoe rentals are nearby, plus several golf courses, including famous Bear Mountain courses in Langford, approximately 30 minutes away. Lovely city of Victoria is a 40 minute drive away. Choose to stay in...enjoy indoor fireplace or outdoor patio, while gazing at Olympic Mountains across the ocean view from the house and wildlife crossing the lawn surrounding the house. Beautiful sunsets, quiet walks on the beach, watch the sunrise at billing spit. guest suite is a beautiful space, newly renovated, 2 queen beds.
